Hello! My name is Reyan Warren (she/her/ella), and my research focus is examining the lack of ethnic representation within K-12 administration, from principals to superintendents. I am curious why this dearth continues to persist and how it mirrors our shortage of teachers of Color. My favorite song is my grandmother's favorite song "Walk With You" by Della Reese. Which was gifted to her by my grandfather on their 45th anniversary.

Kawagley's impressions come from the Yup'ik oral histories, and there are relational components of a larger Indigenous framework. But I also believe it is important for place-based interpretations of education -- and most importantly, spirituality in education.

I work with this population (18+) currently and it breaks my heart the pain and trauma they endure everyday.
