Aryan, Aryan, Pietro, George

Content (3/3) :The video is very detailed and informative. It showed a survivor. They could have added more witnesses or politicans. Otherwise it was very informative and done well.

Presentation (1/3) : They had many pictures, but could have actually did it more of a news broadcast as it felt as a radio news broadcast with pictures just there.
<sup>
Evidence of Effort (2/3): I felt as their effort was average. As they could have actually recoreded themselves. Other than that it was well done and presented.

Evidence for understanding the task (2/3) : They understood the task in terms of information and what was given yet they were supposed to record a tv news report broadcast.

I feel that some of the people responsible for the crimes during the genocide not being punished might leave an opportunities to other governments to do the same.

Mia, Aljoory, Salma and Malak

Content (3/3) :The video is very detailed and informative.

Content - 2/3
The video contains a lot of information and facts about the civil war but not the genocide. They made good use of facts to enhance they point they were making. (Aryan R)
The video made good usage of facts and figures about the genocide, however one might wonder where they obtained there facts from. (Aryan L)
The video had key facts but it should of contained a bit more explanation to why the genocide took place. (George)
Relevance - 1/3
The video was unfortunately irrelevant to the Guatemalan genocide as there were often facts relating to the civil war that took place. (Aryan R)
The video was relevant to the civil war in Guatemala as it talked about when the war ended, its causes but failed to explain in detail the horrors during the genocide. (Aryan L)
The video produced was relevant to the Guatemala as facts and explanations where made during the video related to the topic. (George)
Presentation 2/3
The presentation of the video was average and very normal for most parts of the video. However there was on instance of the use of costumes which ended the video on a better note (Aryan R)
The video made good usage of characters and the fact that they got an interview from survivor and a major political figure in the video was a good idea used in the video. (Aryan L)
Overall the video was well presented as in certain parts the group members wore costumes depending on who there characters are. The group members could of spoke more clearly and slowly so the content is more clear to the viewer. (George)

This would include what happened, why it happened ( the purpose) , who started it and what countries were involved. This is why i give them 3/3.
Content: the content of the video was not the greatest but it was easy enough to to let us know what really happened in the genocide.
Reflection on Aryan, Aryan, George, Pietro, Ryan video by Ana Content:The video contained a lot of good and in depth info on the Guatemalan genocide. There was also a variety of pictures from the genocide which showed some of the things they had to go through. They also interviewed one of the survivors which helped us understand some of the experiences they had to go through. Relevance:Their video contained many pictures, good explanations and detailed information on the Guatemalan which was relevant as they always stayed on topic. Presentation: The presentation was good because it contained many images from the genocide which were organized in a newspaper report format. Evidence of Effort: It was evident that they put a lot of effort in the video as it was long and contained in depth information regarding the genocide but some parts of the video weren’t very clear. Evidence of Understanding:In their video, they showed good understanding of the genocide when they were talking as well as explaining it.

Content:

The news report contained good content and made good use of facts as they showcases the horrors faced during the Guatemalan Government. There was good usage of facts, and their overviews of the information were commendable. (3/3)

Relevance:

Their video was quite relevant to the genocide as they gave background information on the genocide, explained what happened during the genocide and made us experience what was happening in Guatemala at the time. (3/3)

Presentation:

The presentation was remarkable as everyone reported the genocide in a formal, and they made their tone clear on where they stood in terms of the genocide. However, there was background noise that was slightly disturbing but overall the presentation of the video made it feel like a proper news report. (2/3)

Evidence of effort:

Their effort was quite prominent as they knew what they were talking about and the statistics showed a greater understanding of the crimes that took place in Guatemala. Their editing was also remarkable and it showed just how much time and effort they put into their video. (3/3)

Evidence for understanding the task :

The task was understood really well by all the members of the group as there were little to no signs of fumbling during the video, and it didn't look like they were just reading off.

Content:

The content was quite general to the topic and there weren't any detailed facts or statistics about the genocide. They briefly mentioned the main statistics, and were scratching the surface of the genocide. (1/3)

Relevance:

Their video was slightly relevant as there were very few facts and statistics from which the video could be judged and reflected upon. Had they included more facts and information, they would have achieved a higher score. (1/3)

Presentation:

The presentation was not that great as it seemed as if they were just forced to talk about something, and not necessarily reporting about the horrendous genocide. Also the video ended abruptly and through the transitions we could see that one of the presenters was laughing. (1/3)

Evidence of effort:

Their effort was quite prominent as there was little to no editing, with no pictures, and the information that they had gathered lasted only 55 seconds long. (1/3)

Evidence for understanding the task :

The task was understood but not at all executed to a good level. They were scratching the surface, and could have shown more depth in understanding the genocide, rather than just generalizing the genocide. (1/3)
