Telling My Truth: Classic vs. Modern by Tribo Marinel

💬 Interactive Task: Drop Your Thoughts!
Choose one question from the list below that speaks to you the most. Reflect on it, then drop your thoughts in the shared space provided by your teacher (Padlet)
Your answer should be 5–8 thoughtful sentences, showing your personal reflection and how you understand the genres involved.
Be creative. Be real. And don’t forget to read what your classmates shared too — you might relate more than you think.

1. What if you wanted to move on from someone you still love — would you write about it in a sad poem or post it as a healing blog story? Which one helps you express yourself more?

2. What if you had to share an unforgettable family experience — how would it be different if you told it as a traditional story (like a short story or poem) and then as something modern (like a blog or social media post)? What would stay the same, and which one would people your age relate to more?

3. What if you had to choose between holding on to someone you love or letting them go for their happiness — how would telling this story be different if you used a traditional novel versus a modern 21st-century genre like a blog, webtoon, or digital story?

Wanting to move on from someone you loved the most is the hardest part of letting go — but it takes courage and time to do that. If I wanted to move on from someone I still love, I would probably write it as a healing blog story. A blog allows me to freely share not just the pain, but also the thoughts and realizations that come with letting go. I can include our unforgettable memories, emotions, and how I’m slowly learning to choose myself as time goes by — all in my own voice. You might ask, “Why not write a sad poem?” I believe poems capture pain beautifully in few words and symbolic way, but I would rather use writing on blog if I wanted to reflect on the beauty of our love — something real and at peace. A blog feels like I’m having a real conversation with someone; maybe I could even help someone else going through the same thing. Expressing myself through a blog is more freeing and honest, like I’m finally facing my feelings head-on—walking at my own path. It becomes not just a goodbye, but a step toward healing — making progress, slowly but surely.

In a traditional novel, the story might be slower and more emotional, focusing on deep character thoughts and long descriptions of feelings. The readers would need to imagine the scenes and emotions from the author’s words. But in a modern 21st-century genre like a blog, webtoon, or digital story, it would be more visual and interactive. A webtoon might use colorful drawings and facial expressions to quickly show heartbreak or joy, while a blog would feel more personal and conversational, like sharing a diary online. A digital story could mix music, voice, and images to create a more dramatic and immersive experience. Each genre shows the truth of the story, but in a way that fits how people connect with stories today.

For a traditional novel, the focus will be on my perspective and my experiences, including my deepest thoughts and how I felt during those times. I will also write it in a way that the readers can relate to the text, allowing them to connect with their journeys and motivations. For 21st century genres like blogs, webtoons, and digital stories, I will most likely choose to add visuals like in a webtoon. That way, readers can easily understand my story while also being able to entertain them in their journey. Thanks to modern technology, I can freely express myself and my perspective throughout the story while also adding color and bringing life to my story.

In a healing blog you can tell them properly and so that they can listen properly to what you are saying or what you want to express. The important thing is that you have released your emotions or feelings and you can tell them with good feelings and a good story.

In a traditional novel, I will probably go deep into my thoughts, the quiet moments, the doubts, the memories to really let my reader feel the weight of the decision over time and let my reader's to imagine the scenario and emotions of what I'm trying to show or tell to them through my writings. It would feel intimate and reflective. But if you told it through a blog, it might come out more like a raw, real-time confession, messy, emotional, maybe even written late at night, just trying to make sense of everything. This one is what I really love which is webtoon because in webtoon or digital story we could bring in visuals like a look between two people, or the way someone’s smile fades as they walk away, things that hit hard without needing many words. Modern formats let people feel the heartbreak more immediately, like they’re watching it unfold right in front of them. No matter how it's told, though, that kind of choice always leaves a mark.

The emotions of love, loss, and healing would still be there, but the way I tell the story would change how people connect with it. A poem feels more private and artistic, while a blog feels open and inspiring. For me, writing a blog helps me express freely and maybe even help others going through the same thing. Both formats are powerful—they just show different sides of the same story and healing process.

Writing a blog is one of the best forms of expression to me, it enables me to fully stream out my emotions and reflect upon my healing journey too. Unlike the blogs which tell the story in detail ranging from what happened up to how healing efforts undertaken, a sad poem tells only one part of the story: emotions, and captures raw feelings in a beautiful image. Through blogging, I can connect and resonate with people who are of my age group making the world feel less lonely than it usually is. The connection forged through such storytelling is absolutely calming. Blogging reminds me of releasing balloons into the sky: I still hold onto many lessons but it feels easier to let go of what burdens me. Storytelling allows me to turn my tells to turn pain into purpose and sharing my feelings help me find the strength.

If I use a traditional novel, I can make the descriptions or feelings I have deeper and more artistic. I can also use old-fashioned words or language to express the weight of the decision and the pain of letting go. But if I use a modern anyone like a blog or webtoon, it will be more direct, innovative, and more relatable to those who read it, especially teenagers. In the blog, they can hear the tone more, you can also see the pain of letting go of someone you love just for the fun of it, in the webtoon, emotions can be easily seen because there are characters in the scene. It's good to share the feelings if those who read it or watch the blog can also relate because everyone goes through such situations in love, in the end, the same feelings are expressed but different ways of reaching the message regarding the feelings of the reader's heart.

Poetry helps me express deep feelings in a simple but meaningful way each line can show how much I am hurt. It’s a quiet space where I can express my feelings without saying too much. A blog might help others understand, but a poem feels more personal. It’s like talking to myself as I try to let go the person I loved without judgement. Writing poems will help me heal slowly and bring peace to my heart without others judgement.

Also if I use traditional novel to tell my story it would be difficult to understand for some people who don't read novels, like me. So it would really be different if I use 21st-century genre, because I'll use a webtoon to tell my story it is difficult to make because I needed to draw a fiction character to act the story that I wanted to tell. It would be easy for the readers to understand the story through visual aids because of the actions and expression of the character. As per the flow of the story, I'll stick to my experiences, so it wouldn't be hard for me to write it, but, I will change the setting of the story to make it more pursuading for them.

What if you wanted to move on from someone you still love - would you write about it in a sad poem or post it as a healing blog story? Which one helps you express yourself more?

Answer:

If I wanted to move on from someone I still love, I would write about it in a healing blog story. A blog lets me tell the full story what happened, how I felt, and how I’m trying to grow from it. It gives space for both pain and hope. A sad poem might capture the emotion, but a blog helps me understand it better, step by step. I can be raw, honest, and maybe even help someone going through the same thing. Blog writing feels more like a conversation with myself and others, while poetry is like a quiet cry. Both are powerful, but for healing, I need my words to breathe and that’s why I choose a blog.

A book would let us dive deep into the person's feelings and thoughts, with details that make readers feel what they're going through. A blog or webtoon would be more straightforward and honest, sharing emotions right away and connecting directly with readers. The book would focus on telling a deep story, while the blog/webtoon would focus on being real and easy to relate to. Both would show the pain of letting go, but in different ways. The impact would depend on how the story is told.

It would feel timeless and more poetic, focusing on the emotional depth and slow development of the characters' feelings.

On the other hand, if I used a modern 21st-century genre like a blog, webtoon, or digital story, it would be more relatable to people my age. The modern format might also allow for comments or feedback, creating a shared emotional experience.

It’s easier to let out my emotions that way, and I don’t have to explain everything clearly. I can just write what I feel, even if it’s all over the place. A blog feels more like I have to tell a full story, and sometimes, i'm not ready for that. With a poem, I can be more real and just focus on my emotions. Even if no one understands it, at least I know it came from the heart. It’s like a quiet way of letting go without saying too much. Writing it helps me feel lighter, even just a little.

Pescasio

Date: 07-09-2025

Grade & Section: Grade 11 GULAPA

Answer:

What if you had to choose between holding on to someone you love or letting them go for their happiness?

Holding on to someone I love means showing them that being with them makes me happy and that I value them. But, if loving them will only makes them feel uneasy and unhappy, then I would rather let them go to for their own happiness even if it will only cause me pain. I know it hurts to the point that, that pain will give you a hard time and. But, remember that someone you love also know how to love. They are all human too, they want to love someone too, and they deserve to find their own happiness, after all. Just because I let them go doesn't me I don't love them anymore. There are circumstances in life that we cannot go against especially when it is God's plan.

If I have to express my feelings upon sharing my insights about this topic, then I would rather use a modern 21st Century digital story. Making story will just not only help me to express myself, but others too. Story is one of the best way to help other people who's also struggling with expressing their feelings and emotions. Reading story can make the readers felt that their life is similar with what is written in the story.

Upon writing the story, It would be better if I include in the text how we meet each other, how we used to do together, and how I let them go just to find their own happiness. I will also include my advices and the lessons that I want my readers to realize.

In my own perspective, I think using digit story is a big help for those people who also want to share the same feelings but doesn't have any courage to do, so, writing their story same with mine will help them to be seen.

TELLING MY TRUTH: CLASSIC VS. MODERN

Question:

What if you wanted to move on from someone you still love - would you write about it in a sad poem or post it as a healing blog story? Which one helps you express yourself more?

Answer:

I would prefer to write a letter and the title is "Healing for someone who hurt you". I will tell you how it all started, and tell you why it happened. Always speak with respect because it's not his fault, it's not your fault that you're telling the truth. I will tell you in my story what really happened and what he really did that led to moving on. I will sort out my emotions before telling the story, because I also don't want to hurt others, for me it's better to write than to blog because it's also for your safety. Because i don't want others to tell me. Move on by yourself because that's why you fought against it in the first place, so now you have to fight against the person who hurt you and I just want to say that not everyone can move on because others would rather just be friends than move on. For me, it's better to move on so you don't have to be traumatized by what he did and you'll feel better because you'll be able to forget what he did to you.For me, this will help for those who read this, but this is all just their imagination. but this is all just their imagination.

What would stay the same, and which one would people your age relate to more?

ANSWER:

If I were to share an unforgettable family experience, like our bonding during New Year, it would look very different depending on how I tell it.

If I wrote it in a traditional way, like an essay titled “The Memorable Day in My Life with My Family During New Year”, I would focus more on the meaning of the moment. I would say that happiness doesn’t come from material things, but from the love and togetherness of family. My essay would be full of emotions, and I would share a lesson for the reader, like valuing family over things. But if I shared the same story in a modern way, like on social media, I would use a funny or Gen Z-style caption, with emojis and hashtags to make it more relatable. For example caption i use is this (POV: Walang regalo pero punong-puno ng saya 😎🔥🎆 Happy New Year with the fam—kulitan, tawanan, at lumpiang walang katapusan 😂❤️ #FamilyFirst #NoWifiNeeded #GenZHappiness”)

The love and joy are same when i use traditional and modern

This style is shorter, more fun, and easier for people my age to understand and react to. I can even post pictures or videos of us eating, laughing, or watching fireworks. When i use traditional this is meaningful but in the modern it is short but the joy and happyness are the same.

Whether we admit it or not, conveying our feelings to someone is one of the hardest things to do, as there is often the fear that the person we are expressing ourselves to may not appreciate it. Often, the only way we can release our emotions is through writing poetry or something similar, as this form of expression can lighten our hearts. Even if we can't say it directly to our loved ones, we can express everything through writing. Not everyone has the ability to articulate their feelings through writing; some prefer to create a healing blog to gain other people's opinions, which can also help clarify things and make moving on easier. However, for me, I would rather write a sad poem for the person I love and want to forget than read or see someone else's opinion. While that may also have its pros and cons, when you create a poem, your only opponent is yourself. It allows you to express everything you haven't been able to say to that person, and gradually, you will find freedom and joy because it turns out that this is the way to achieve true happiness and peace of mind.

Angeles

Date: July 9, 2025

Grade and Section: 11-Gancayco

Answer: If I have to share my family memory, I will be going to use a short story to tell how bad and good memories I have with them. writing a short story is different in posting it online. Because in short story you can really express and write what you really want to. Because in posting you cannot really express what you want to say but you can post pictures and video that you have with them that you can go back to see and watch it anytime. But the short story is better because it's not just traditional, but you can write to short story how bad what happened and how good and memorable it was but in posting you cannot share that something is not good, so I prepare to traditional like writing a short story or poem. And in writing a short story no one will judge you why it's like that.

Because I love writing, and through writing I can convey what I want to express. I love writing because whenever I write, I feel as if I’m transported to different places or times. Through writing, I transfer the pain or anger I feel onto the page I’m writing on. In poem, no one can judges you it's just you and the paper on the same side. In a poem, you are always right, and above all, in a poem, you are always important.

This is where he will know how much I loved him and I will also share our happy memories here. I know that this is the easiest thing to do because while I am writing, I can cry, but on the blog, I am ashamed to show my crying because I don't want him to see how hard I am trying to forget him. They are both powerful, but for healing, what really helps me is writing a poem because that's where I can properly express my feelings.

A traditional novel would let me go deeper into the characters and emotions, but it might feel a bit distant or slow for today’s world. In a blog or digital story, I could write more like I actually talk, share personal thoughts, and even add images or music that match the mood. A webtoon would let me show their emotions through art like a single tear or a quiet goodbye. No matter the format, the feelings of love and heartbreak would stay the same. But I think a modern style would help people relate more because it feels closer to how we live and share things now. It's not just about telling the story it’s about how others feel it too

People might think that something is wrong with them and would probably take their own life. So for me the healing blog doesn't only encourage poeple but also help me to trust again and find someone who will never fall out of love. It hurts moving on but it is selfish to force them to stay. The pain would never change there would always be an open wound for a long time, But the wound will turn into a scar and someday i know i will treat it not as a mistake but a reminder of my love.

Desor

Date: July 9, 2025

Grade & Section:11 Gulapa

Answer:

If I had to share an unforgettable family experience, telling it as a traditional story or poem would feel more emotional and reflective, focusing on small details like how the food smelled or how my parents smiled because it's one of the best thing that ever happened to my life. It would be slower, more poetic or something you'd want to read quietly and think about because it's full of emotions. But if I told it as a blog or social media post, I’d probably write it more casually, add pictures, and small message about how happy we are, and share it like I'm talking to a freind. It would feel more relatable or maybe funny. What would stay the same is the feeling behind that post, or even the chaos and laugh that made it unforgettable. I think people my age would connect more with the modern version because it feels more personal and quick to engage with. But the heart of the story and the joy would still be there, no matter how I tell it.

It's a deep hurt, the kind that comes from leaving someone I still love. To deal with this pain, I'd write sad poems. A blog post feels too formal, too far away from the raw emotion. Poems are different. They let me pour out my feelings, word by word, line by line. Each word is a piece of my heart, each poem a step towards accepting things. It's not about forgetting; it's about remembering while moving on. Writing poems helps me do that.

I really love to write poem especially when I am sad it help me to express my feeling. Loving someone is very wonderful feeling but is to move on is very difficult because you love that person. You cannot just move on in short period of time because you already give your love and the memories you both make, will always be your "multo" it forever hunt you. Poem will help me/you to express yourself through writing your feeling, it will help your heart to move forward!💗

Which one helps you express yourself more?

Answer: If I wanted to get over someone I still love, I might first write a sad poem to process my loss and grief. The poem might resort to metaphors and imagery to convey the depth of my feelings in a few words and creatively. Yet, a healing blog narrative might provide a more therapeutic means, enabling me to look back on the experience, learn from it, and post it for others who may be experiencing something similar. It creates an outlet for self-reflection and development, so it may be more beneficial in the long term for emotional recovery. The poem would be an intense first release, but the blog would provide a more consistent and perhaps more beneficial exercise in self-expression and healing.

A poem feels too final, like I am carving my pain into stone. A blog, though, gives me a chance to tell a changing story. I could share my growth, my highs and lows, the small wins and the deep sadness. It would help me share my thoughts out loud, maybe find comfort and strength from others who have been through the same. It also gives me a clear record of how I get better over time. A poem, for me, feels like a sign of loss; a blog feels more like a map that shows me the way to a new and better life.

A traditional novel would allow for a deep exploration of the characters' internal conflicts and motivations, using detailed descriptions and a complex plot to illustrate the emotional journey of both individuals. The pacing would be slower, allowing the reader to fully immerse themselves in the characters' emotional states. Conversely, a modern blog post might offer a more immediate and personal account, focusing on the writer's feelings and reflections on the situation. A webtoon could use visual storytelling to express emotions that might be difficult to capture in words alone. A digital story could incorporate multimedia elements, like music and animation, to create a more immersive and engaging experience. Ultimately, the choice of genre would significantly impact how the story's central conflict and emotional resolution are portrayed.

Letting go for individual happiness was rare and often seen as a failure or a selfish act.

Modern Perspective (Contemporary Views). The "modern" perspective often leans towards letting go for their happiness (and often, for one's own), prioritizing individual well-being, personal growth, and authentic connection. In the modern view, it should be a conscious, informed choice based on mutual desire and the potential for a better shared future, rather than solely on external pressure or fear.

They wouldn't let me stay down for long.

As for the modern story, it's about how my life changed after my parents passed away. My siblings' parents started distancing them from me, and things got tough. They started judging me and making assumptions about my life. But my parents taught me well, and I never gave up. Now, I'm asking if anyone can relate to feeling lost and hopeless after losing their parents.

What if you had to choose between holding on to someone you love or letting them go for their happiness how would telling this story be different if you used a traditional novel versus a modern 21st-century genre like a blog, webtoon, or digital story?

I still remember the day I realized I had to let him go.

Name: SULTAN, EURIE BEA D.

Date: july 10, 2025

Grade and section : G11 Malimban

Answer: If I had to choose between holding onto someone I love and letting them go for their happiness, I would choose the latter. Why? Because seeing them with me but unhappy would be unbearable. I'd rather see them happy in someone else's arms than unhappy with me. It's difficult, yes, but it's worth it if it means their happiness. Their happiness is enough for me. We shouldn't force someone to love us; that's not love.True love isn't possessive it's about wanting what's best for the other person, even if it means sacrificing your own happiness. Holding onto someone against their will is selfish, a form of control disguised as love. Genuine love sets people free. It allows them to pursue their dreams, even if it means they'll be with someone else. The pain of letting go is temporary, but the regret of holding someone back from their happiness could last a lifetime. It's a painful but necessary act of selflessness, a testament to the depth of one's love. Ultimately, seeing them happy, even if it's not with me, brings me a different kind of joy the joy of knowing I played a part in their journey towards fulfillment. That's a love worth cherishing. The hardest choices often lead to the greatest growth. Letting go of someone you love for their happiness is a testament to your maturity and the depth of your love. It's a selfless act that prioritizes their well being above your own desires. While the pain of separation is undeniable, the satisfaction of knowing you contributed to their happiness will eventually outweigh the sorrow. It's a love that transcends possession, a love that understands that true happiness lies in the freedom to choose one's own path. This kind of love isn't about ownership it's about empowerment. It's about recognizing that sometimes, the greatest act of love is letting go. And in letting go, you create space for both of you to find your own unique forms of happiness, even if those paths diverge. This is not an ending, but a new beginning,a testament to a love that is both powerful and profoundly selfless.

A poem allows for a more concise and emotionally raw expression, focusing on the intensity of the feelings. A blog story offers a broader platform to explore the experience, providing context, reflection, and a potential path towards healing, potentially reaching a wider audience who might relate to your experience. The best choice depends on your personal preference and how you want to share your emotions.

If I had to choose between holding on to someone i love or letting them go, I would choose to write it on a sad poem to express my real feeling's towards the person i loved the most. Why? Here is the story.I was in Grade 10 when I met Heaven (not her real name) she became my inspiration and the person that thought me what love feels like. We became friends and we are getting to know each other for a while, that's when i notice that her hobbies and likes are almost the same like mine so that is the reason i used to like her more. At the first place she didn't know that i like her because i do not want her to have issues in school and i was really shy at that time. But suddenly one of my classmates told her that i have a crush on her, i was in the the classroom that time when she wanted to talk to me that's when things went wrong, she told me that I was a great friend and we cannot have a higher relationship to each other in other words i was friendzoned. That night when i got home i felt miserable and i was crying. After a week we didn't talk to each other, that's when i noticed she had a boyfriend. Years passed i am now G 11 and still i was waiting for the person who once make me feel happy. That's the reason i want to make a sad poem because im still holding on to someone i love. (Story of me plss don't judge)

I’d describe how the sun was shining, the waves were calm, and how my cousins and I jumped off the boat laughing. I’d talk about how peaceful the ocean felt, and how we ate fresh fish grilled by my uncle while watching the sunset. It would sound more dramatic and meaningful.

But if I told it as a modern blog or social media post, it would be fun and chill. Things have changed. There's a saying: If you love someone, let them go, even if it hurts. You can't bring back that past happiness. It's better to choose to let them be happy with someone else because no matter what you do or try, you can't get that back. They've changed. You don't know what they feel, but people change when they tire of a repetitive relationship where you don't understand each other. They'll seek someone else who makes them happy. If you no longer understand each other, someone in the relationship will look for happiness they can't find with you. You have to let them go. Lesson learned: Don't force happiness if they've found it elsewhere.

If that person can't be happy with me, I'm willing to lose mine than hold on to something that can't let and give you the things you deserve. It will be painful at first. This type of pain will cause you to cry till you go to sleep at 3 in the morning, with swollen, puffy eyes and a plugged nose. The kind of pain that follows you around, reminding you of the times you spent together at specific locations you visit. The pain that makes you question whether you were ever important to them. But if I've learnt anything, it's that you can't have expectations. The unfortunate reality, is that you cannot expect them to love you as much as you love them. The hard part slides in, the moving on phase. I can move on easily but I am the type of person who still cherish the memories we've spent together. Moving on to the person you love is like climbing a tower without any equipment. At first, you will look up to something you can use but after a long time you will just let it be. It's hard but I have no choice but to climb without equipments. Climbing it without equipment will hurt but after a long time you'll just get used to it.

But it might be hard for some people to connect with the story especially if theyre not used to reading novels. Thats why using a 21st-century genre like a blog or webtoon would make a big difference. I could include visuals like drawings, music, or voiceovers to express the sadness or the joy in each part. It would be easier for the audience to feel the message because they can see the characters emotions clearly. Also I can share the story online where more people can see it and maybe relate to it.

Answer If I had to choose between holding on or letting go, a traditional novel would tell the story in a deep and slow way, with lots of emotions and long descriptions. It would feel like reading someone's full heart. But if I used a modern 21st century genre like a blog, webtoon, or digital story, it would be faster, more visual, and easier to connect with, especially for young people. It might have pictures, music, or videos that show the feelings instead of just words. So, the story stays the same, but the way it's told feels different depending on the style.

I also use poetry because it creates beautiful and unique words, and it allows me to transform my pain into something meaningful and enduring. Through poetry, I can share my sadness and offer a better understanding of my feelings. Lastly, I use poetry so I don't need to tell a full story, but can simply express how I feel.

‎

‎

A healing blog lets me explain not only the heartbreak, but also the small moments of learning and growth. I can tell the whole journey my feelings at the start, my struggle, the realizations and the lesson I learned that helped me heal and the steps I took to rebuild myself. It's not just about letting go of the pain it's about turning my experience into something meaningful that might inspire or comfort others. By telling my story, I can reflect on what I've been through slowly find the strength to move on the person I still love.

Love and connection with someone are essential parts of life. But if holding on to them would cause them pain or suffering, it might be better to let them go. Letting them go could give them the opportunity to find true happiness. Ultimately, the choice depends on the situation and the feelings of each person. We need to listen to our hearts and the needs of the person we love. Sometimes, letting go is an act of love, showing that we care about their well-being above our own desires. It's hard to let go, but it might be the best decision for both parties. In the end, we hope that the person we love finds happiness, even if it's not with us. By making this difficult choice, we can find peace knowing we did what was best for them.

Sometimes love means giving freedom, even if it hurts to stay behind. Their happiness becomes the priority, over personal desires. Love isn't always about being together, but about wanting the best for each other. Letting go doesn't erase the love; it just changes its form. You hold on to the memories and the love you shared. Trusting they'll find happiness can bring peace, even in separation. It's about choosing their joy over your own needs. In the end, love's about giving, not just taking.

If I wanted to move on from someone I still love, I would probably write about it in a sad poem. Poems allow me to condense my feelings into powerful images and metaphors, which can capture the intensity of emotions that are hard to explain directly. The rhythm and flow of poetry feel like a safe place to pour out pain without having to tell the full story. Writing it as a blog post might help others relate, but poetry feels more personal and private—something meant for my own healing first. Classic poetry has a timeless way of expressing heartbreak, while a modern blog feels more like a conversation with the world. For me, letting the emotions spill into verses would be the first step, and maybe later I’d share them to show others they’re not alone. In that way, poetry becomes both my shelter and my release.

In my opinion, this is because writing a blog allows me to share my experiences and connect with others who may be going through similar situations.

Date: August 12,2025

Grade & Section: 11-Malimban

Answer:If I wanted to move on from someone I still love, I think I would write about it in a sad poem. Poetry allows me to pour my raw emotions into words without holding back, and the rhythm and imagery can capture the pain in a way plain storytelling sometimes can’t. A poem feels more personal and intimate, like a letter to my own heart. Writing it would give me the space to acknowledge my feelings while slowly letting them go. In a way, every verse would be a step toward healing, even if the tone is still melancholic. While a blog story could help me reflect in a more logical way, a poem would let me express the depth of my emotions exactly as I feel them. For me, it’s not just about moving on—it’s about honoring the love I had while finding peace in letting go.

If I had to choose between holding onto someone I love and letting them go for their happiness, I would rather let go of someone I love for their happiness than hold onto them if I had to pick between the two. Why? Because it would be intolerable to watch them with me yet sad. Seeing them content in someone else's arms is preferable than them being unhappy with me. Yes, it's challenging, but if it will make them happy, it's worth it. For me, their pleasure is plenty. Forcing someone to love us is not love, thus we should avoid doing it. Desiring what's best for the other person, even if it means putting your own happiness on the line, is what true love is all about. It is self-centered and a kind of control masquerading as love to hold onto someone against their will.People are set free by true love. Even if it means being with someone else, it enables them to follow their aspirations. The regret of preventing someone from experiencing happiness could last a lifetime, while the pain of letting go is just momentary. It is an act of selflessness that is difficult but essential and demonstrates the depth of one's love. Seeing them happy, even if it's not with me, ultimately makes me happy in a different way because I know that I helped them find contentment. That is a love to be treasured. The biggest progress frequently results from the most difficult decisions. It shows how mature you are and how much you love someone when you let them go for their happiness.

What would stay the same, and which one would people your age relate to more?

For me, the experience I will never forget with my family is that we were still together and as a whole family. Times when we were just living a simple life, we were happy to share food, happy that we were still able to bond. I am happy that even without gifts for each other, we are still happy in life. But I also have an experience that I will never forget is when I almost lost my brother. And of course, the time when my family was suffering. Times when even during a storm, my father was still looking for life. Then now, for people my age, a lot has changed. Like the Genzis who are similar, they are also going through different things in life. Then even the small things have a big impact because of course they are also influenced by social media.

I want to express all my feelings about choosing someone's happiness over me. Letting them go is hard but, If they really don't want me anymore, and doesn't appreciate my efforts, i would do letting them go. It hurts but it's for the best.

It hurts to think about, but sometimes we need to let go of the person we love for their happiness. If love is true, we are willing to sacrifice and let them go for their joy. It is better to choose to leave than to continue to be hurt and hope for a return that will not happen. Because as time passed, I learned that everything in the world is temporary. Every person who comes into our lives has their own purpose, and not all will stay. it is better to accept the truth and continue on with life with new hope and strength. Letting go is not easy, but it is the way to show the true love and respect for the decisions of others. In the end, the happiness of the person we love is what we should think about, even if it means moving away from each other

If I wanted to move on from someone I still love, I would probably express my feelings in a sad poem. Poetry allows me to use emotions, metaphors, and symbolism to describe pain in a more artistic and honest way. Sometimes, writing in verse helps me release what I truly feel without needing to explain every detail. It’s more personal, raw, and timeless — something I can return to when I want to remember how far I’ve come. While a healing blog story is more straightforward and reflective, a poem gives my heart a voice. In this genre, I feel like I can finally let go and turn my heartbreak into something beautiful.
