In college, I used to read the textbook and take outlined notes by hand. Then I would type up my notes. I would print them out and highlight them using a color-coded system. I would create practice questions at the bottom and have my mom or my friends ask me those questions and try to answer them without looking at the paper.

After I take notes in a class I will re-read them after school or in my free time and highlight key words or phrases. I also don't add excessive information that will distract me from the point. I keep a planner where I write down all of my assignments and their due dates.

Some of the ways that i have studied in the past that have worked for me are to keep reviewing the information and go over what i am trying to do with flashcards. Another way i study is to read out loud what i am trying to memorize. Also work out the problem multiple times until you know you can do it and check your work.

I always take the time to go over what we did in class and make very detailed notes or flashcards to study. I will go back to the lesson(if it is accessible) and i will make diagrams and make my notes pretty so i am more likely to want to look back on them. I will make text bubbles with notes that i can look back on later

Since we have to do our notes in the computer now. I'm unable to go to focus, so I take pictures of the notes than I copy them onto to my notebooks I have and try to make them look more fun to read them so I can memorize them well. Also I use index crads to re copy important facts to memorize also because copying them word by word helps me remember easily.

What helps me is re writing important information a few times or having my sisters quiz me on it also if I dislike the way I wrote my notes or they were kinda messy I write them again. I also use a specific flavor of gum or smell.
