Zeus fell in love with a titans named Metis. Yet, there was also a prophecy given to Zeus, it stated that Metis will first have a daughter. If Metis has a son after than that son would overthrow Zeus, like Zeus had done to his father Kronos. The next day Zeus went up to her and swallowed Metis in the form of a fly. Soon, Zeus suffered a terrible migraine. He shouted for Hephestaus to bring an anvil and a hammer. Hephestaus than placed Zeus' head on the anvil and split it in two with his hammer.
