Women were known to have bobs and short hair styles. They wore modest but slim figured dresses up until the late twenties, when they started slightly emphasizing their waist and figure. Women did not wear pants and were very feminine. Men were more than often wearing professional, work style clothing if not suits. Hats, dress shoes, and ties are common for men. They also grew their mustaches!

in the 2000's, it became popular for women to wear pants and sort of brushed off the femininity. Men have a more comfortable look now. They wear jeans and sweat outfits. ( I hate it <3) In the past few years, we see a return in lots of feminine clothing and accessories for women, the term is commonly known as "coquette." Girls wear bows and frilly dresses! Guys are also starting to look out together and use the term "old money" to describe their style.
