This project is more than just putting stories together. It's a gift for my niece, meant to introduce her to different kinds of stories and teach her important lessons through storytelling. I want it to show that stories can bring people together, no matter where they're from, and help us understand each other's cultures.

Choosing "The Golden Starfruit Tree" was deliberate. It tells a story about being greedy and the problems that come with it. The story is interesting and has a good ending, making it perfect for engaging young minds.

The project also involves making things, like a mythical bird through 3D printing, a starfruit tree , and adding symbols like bags and coins. This is to make the whole experience not just about words but something visually interesting and hands-on for my niece.

The story takes a turn when a magical bird eats the starfruits and offers a deal: trade starfruits for gold. The younger brother and his spouse decide to give it a shot, starting a unique journey.

They end up on an island full of precious stones, guided by the talking bird. They collect a lot of wealth and return home, sharing it with those in need.

The story reaches a peak when the older brother, lured by wealth, wants the starfruit tree. A deal is made, but the bird warns to use larger bags. Unfortunately, the older brother's greed leads to his downfall, showing the dangers of being too greedy. The story teaches about being honest, humble, and doing the right thing.

In the end, "The Golden Starfruit Tree" is not just a story. It's a lesson about life, culture, and how our actions have consequences. It shows the power of storytelling to teach important values.

The first bird model looked good, but it had some issues. It had four parts, each needing different print settings, and I had to use super glue to put them together. This made things a bit complicated, especially for a hands-on project aimed at kids. Also, the Stego Library makerspace doesn't have the right printer for this project.

When we attempted to print it using the same settings for each part, the bird didn't balance as expected.

Additionally, the wings are susceptible to breakage, especially when subjected to force.
