*silent type of bullying, can bully at anytime or anywhere (do not need to be by the person), can be done annoymously

*Boys target girls in higher numbers through cyber bullying than traditional bullying

*Explain that cyber bullying can hurt or embarrass others

* Talk about internet safety and appropriate use of technologies

*Discuss Bystander behavior as well - encourage child to speak out if they see cyber bullying

*Set up appropriate guidelines for using technology in the home
