Ermias Joseph Asghedom known as Nipsey Hussle was born August 15, 1985 in Los Angeles.At the age of 14, Hussle left home and joined the local Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips, a sub-group of the larger Crips gang primarily based in his home neighborhood of Crenshaw. However he would later work to separate himself from the gang and dedicate much of his career to gang prevention. He was known for rapping, entrepreneur and for being an activist. Nipsey huslle won two grammy awards and five BET awards.

Nipsey Hussle inspired a lot of people including me because he collaborated with members of the Bloods, and quietly worked behind the scenes to diffuse violence. Shortly before his death, he had set up a meeting with the Los Angeles chief of police to work on ways to stop gang violence and improve the lives of local children. He was just tryna be a better person and stop people from dying by gang violence, Another reason he inspires me is that he doesn't try and be somebody he's not i feel like when i was younger i used to try and be someone i'm not and now i act like myself.#rap #hip hop #musicismylife #rapmusic #life
