 Summary
The Spanish Inquisition began in 1478 Spain ,when Pope Gregory lX ordered it,and ended in 1834,because of a Royal Decree. It was between Spaniard Catholics and anyone who did not share their religious ideals.This included Protestants, Jews,and later Muslims. The non-believers were tortured until they confessed to their "sins" in order to be "purified".They were almost always guilty and burned to the stake. Historians predict that tens of thousands were killed.
How it shaped World History....
     The Spanish Inquisition shaped world history because after there were mostly only Catholics were left,as the nonbelievers were killed off.This means that when the new world was discovered the only religion the natives were converted into was Catholicism. This gave Catholicism a head-start and Spain was rewarded greatly.
How it shaped my existence....
       This historical event shaped my existence with the influence Catholicism has on my life, traditions, morals, and culture. My family and I have certain morals ,like going to church and praying. These morals are derived directly from Catholicism.

Summary
   The American Revolution ran from 1775 to 1783. The colonists that resided in the New World were upset with the British King's absurd tax policies ,they wanted freedom, for all 13 colonies to be free from Great Britian.The taxes were the effect of Britian's fight with the French and the Indians.After boycotts and daring riots,the Declaration of Independence was written. The declaration held ideals that the colonists wanted to adopt. After a bit of fighting,the 13 colonies were free.
How it shaped World History....
  The American Revolution shaped world history not only by freeing the 13 colonies,which later developed into the U.S.A,but also by weakening Britain's economy. Britain's economy was already weak because of their disagreements with the French and the Indians. The revolution only made spend more money and overall made it weaker.
How it shaped my existence....
       The American Revolution shaped my existence with its rights and laws. It made me a person who believes in justice. Its rights also influence my choices.
