Noticing that getting through cars seems to get her number down, she starts rushing, only focusing on getting off the train. It isn't until she reaches the Corgi Car, exhausted, that she finally decides to take as much time as she needs.

Gilgamesh reasoning and intentions were drastically different to tulips, but how they get through their anchored point of views are. The part human part god was filled with self absorption, with the idea he was better than everyone else. He desired to be the best in everyway and to be immoral. But in his search he ignored the lessons and signs through his path, that maybe it wasn't immortality he needed and that instead of going on this journey he just needed to change how he views the world and thought process. Not until he failed and was forced into realizing that he couldn't get immortality but that maybe life isn't about having everything but what you make out of the things you've already been given.

After deciding to take a breather in the Corgi Car, Tulip meets Atticus, the ruler or Corginia. He tells of a monster that's been terrorizing their land and causing floods, and Tulip agrees to help find this creature. Atticus, Tulip, and One-One find a spider casting a huge shadow and assume that it was the monster, then the Steward appears. The group finds that there are spheres in panels that control aspects of the environment, and replacing one of the water spheres solves the floods. After a fight, the stewardess escapes to the conductor and Atticus is invited to come along to defeat the Steward and find the conductor. He debates whether he should go, and decides it's his duty to protect Corginia.

Enkidu at first was enraged by the thought in Gilgamesh, how he acted, his actions, his views. They did very quickly become friends though. Enkidu ended up being somewhat a guide in a sense. Of course they were dearest friends but Enkidu was a lot more well rounded and had his ideals and principles. It helped Gilgamesh see things from a different views from his own. Even if he didn't exactly grow and develop as a character more till the end.

Before Enkidu Gilgamesh seems to not have genuine connections with others. It's completely understandable as well no one wants to talk to someone reckless so caught up in their self image. But as I've pointed out Enkidu helped Gilgamesh and to have one of your first connections, and a deeply close one at that, would be devastating. The guilt would be unbelievable. For a person whos usually so self absorbed to grieve for another person so much does show some character growth.

Though Tulips temptation is drastically different from Gilgamesh there's definitely parallels that could be made. Often woman are used as temptations, often used to show a woman as a sexualized figure to show deception and crudeness. More specifically here used to show a sense of unrealistic luxury and a easy way out. But Gilgamesh refuses her offers because he sees through her manipulative behaviors and how she's left all of her past lovers to suffer. Instead of her he choses to continue as is and avoid the easy way out. Cause its not truly the easy nor smart decision. As most unrealistically good seeming things are.
