I don't necessarily need to state which style of narrative is subjectively "better", I'm simply analyzing how the traits of both books create different types of engagement within readers. One could describe it as 'engagement that influences to a certain extent.'

I haven't finished all of sources. I think I could use possibly one more on both books, but the other one that I haven't taken a look at yet is 'Difficult Empathy: The Effect of Narrative Perspective on Reader’s Engagement with a First-Person Narrator.' I think I can tie that one in for TLT (as it's first-person) and also use anything it mentions about third-person or varying perspectives for TLH.

-analyze The Lightning Thief's narrative and use direct quotes to support how it'se specific POV and perspective effect a reader. Go into depth about what it's POV and perspective specifically do and what they influence

-repeat the same thing for The Lost Hero

-analyze both of the techniques in both texts and compare. I can argue the contrasting effects both have on the reader and explicitly state why that matters. Determine(?) final points that summarize findings. "A first-person POV does.... while 3rd does ...."

-Final conclusion of research
