Within my 4th period class I am met with some students who have unique and loud personalities, in order to best help my students I have to monitor these by choosing how I react, I must be firm but not shut down the stduents to where they do not feel comfortable

Social awareness, very aware of changes in student moods/behaviors. Relationship skills, I want them to be comfortable and talk with each other and foster a positive classroom culture. Don't mind them having fun for moments even if it is off task.

I use cards to randomly assign students to groups so that they work with a variety of classmates rather than selecting the same groups time after time. Students randomly select a card then have to locate the matching one(s) depending upon group size
