This is the first academic paper I wrote for this course. Although I revised it once, this process taught me a lot. I realized how difficult it is to clearly connect personal experiences with academic materials. Writing articles about Amy Tan and Shane Galad helped me explore the meaning of language beyond grammar. It tell me how is it associated with culture, identity and emotions.

This is my second major writing task. I can feel that my ideas are more orderly than those of the first project. I have learned how to use multiple main ideas to support a general argument and how to explain concepts such as creativity in a clearer way. Writing articles about creativity, diversity and artificial intelligence has made me realize that academic writing is not merely about summarizing materials, but about connecting real-world topics with personal understanding.
