Throughout the poem, the poet addresses autumn as if it were a person. In the first stanza, he notes that autumn and the sun are like close friends plotting how to make fruit grow and how to ripen crops before the harvest. The ripening of the crops will drop seeds, which sets the stage for spring flowers and the whole process starting over again. He tells us about the bees that think summer can last forever as they buzz around the flowers. But the poet knows better.

The second stanza describes the time after the harvest, when autumn just hangs out around the granary where harvested grains are kept. Most of the hard work has already been done, and autumn can just take a nap in the fields, walk across brooks, or watch the making of cider.

In the last stanza, the poet notes that the music of spring is a distant memory, but that autumn's music is pretty cool, too. This music includes images of clouds and harvested fields at sunset, gnats flying around a river, lambs bleating, crickets singing, and birds whistling and twittering. All of the sights and sounds produce a literal symphony of beauty.

The first stanza describes the relationship between autumn and sun, how both work in harmony to make fruit grow and ripen crops before the harvest as if they were a match made in heaven. The cycle goes from ripening the seed enough to fall down onto the ground, which sets the stage for spring flowers. The poet tells us how the bees think that thinks summer can stay forever but he knows better that it won't.

The second stanza describes the period in which harvest season comes into play, it is also a time where autumn just idly wander around in the granary where harvested grains are kept. Most of the hard work were done and autumn can take their time, napping on the fields, walk across the brooks or watch the making of cider.

The third stanza, the poet notes spring's music is only but a distant memory. Autumn's music on the other hand would let the poet cast a scene in his mind as it includes the images of clouds and harvested fields at sunset, gnats flying around the river banks, sounds of the lambs bleat, tunes of the crickets and the singing and whistling and twittering of birds. To the poet, it's a visual perception that represents how autumn string together different elements into a symphonic season.

In the first stanza of "To Autumn," Keats personifies autumn as one who is friends with the sun. The personified autumn and sun "conspire" on how to bring fruit and vegetation to their most ripe state. It is just before harvest time; the plants are ripe and full.

The second stanza describes the period after the harvest, when autumn just hangs out around the granary where harvested grains are kept. This music includes images of clouds and harvested fields at sunset, gnats flying around a river, lambs bleating, crickets singing, and birds whistling and twittering.

In the third stanza, the poet describes the sounds of Autumn. Spring is distinguished by its songs. The sounds of Autumn are heard in the evening when the sun is setting, a soft glow irradiates the fields from which the crop has been reaped, leaving the stumps behind.

The first stanza describes Autumn as a season with foggy mists and an absurd amount of fully ripen fruits and vegetables ready to be harvested. The sun has a close relationship and loyal companion to Autumn and they both work together to increase the fruit growth and its quality near the farmhouses.

The second stanza explains Autumn is seen as a lazy and slow-moving retired character like a thresher sitting on a granary floor, a reaper asleep in a grain field, a gleaner crossing a brook, and, lastly, a cider maker.

The final stanza states that Autumn is seen as a natural musician. The Autumn song were sang by insects, animals, and birds. To the poet's ears, it sounds just as harmonic as the music of Spring.

The first stanza tells us about autumn and its relationship with the crops and the sun. The Personified autumn and sun work with each other to help the crops grow during this time of year. They also help the flower bloom. which attract the bees to come near the flower's buds to gather the pollen coming off of the buds. The bees happily gather the pollen hoping that this feeling can last forever much to their's dismay.

The second stanza describe autumn as a being that is everywhere. For example, sitting lazily on the floor of the building where grain is stored or asleep in the fields, on an incompletely harvested crop row. It also describe autumn as a grim reaper of sort when it says that "your scythe, which you'd been using to cut the crops, would be cast to the side" sparing the flowers of its lives. It also worded that autumn is an agricultural laborer who picks up loose cuttings from the fields after the harvest or an almighty being watching over everything we do.

In the third stanza, the poet encourages autumn to find its own music, the background of which is beautiful in it's own rights. The music that autumn finds is like a choir of sorts with its gnats, lambs, crickets and swallows.
