My name is Filipa Andrade i've 23 years old and i'm natural of the island São Miguel in Azores. Since I was very young I had an enormous desire to become a teacher. My play as a child was always related to it, to teaching. I do not know if this my desire to teach has taken root due to the fact that I have many teachers in the family or because I had a good experience with my educator and my 1st cycle of Basic Education teacher. After 18 years in an island, I decided that I had to change and become more independent of my family and I ended up applying to universities in Portugal Continental where I was placed in Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. After my great adventure and after graduation I proceeded with my studies and I enrolled in the Master's degree where I am still attending it for teaching in both Pre-School and 1st Cycle of Basic Education. 
I love nature, adventures, the sea and my family, being away almost five years from them as been a challenge but a motivation to keep going and proceed with my studies to become a teacher.

No, I'm not part of any project like this and I think I never did. I doubt most teachers will know of the existence of etwinning projects. As a master's student in education, none of my teachers spoke about this resource.
2- Do the initiatives mentioned above seem interesting for you?
All the initiatives described that I could understand in the video are very interesting and, besides being interesting, are very original and fundamental to the reality we are facing today, namely, multiculturalism, bilingualism and collaborative work. This kind of projects can be very useful because teachers can mention all of this subjects like the cultures that we have around the world, the various languages and  the values of those cultures.
3- Do you think that building a classroom without walls is of great value for learning?
Of course yes! This is how you get to know the collaborative work and the exchange of ideas between teachers. Nowadays it is still possible to verify that most teachers teach in exactly the same way as they did 30 or 40 years ago. Doors closed, they do not like to share their ideas with other colleagues, they feel intimidated by the presence of other employees in your classroom, etc. If teachers continue on this path, students will hardly be collaborative with each other, motivated to learn or respond to other points of view, group or peer work, being more autonomous, and being more sociable. It's a great activity to use with babies (nursery) because promote a sensory development very dinamic.

Directed, again, to the sensory stimuli of the child, this is an activity that I already performed in daycare stage and that was quite successful although I had not used the same materials as in this image.

There is a lot of focus and concern to work in curricular areas such as mathematics, Portuguese and science and we forget that the children who present themselves in today's classes are closely linked to the online social world and sometimes family do not warn them about the dangers of the Internet. As a future education professional I think it is very important to be are aware of these risks and it is up to us to warn children for these risks and learn strategies for supporting young people and helping them to develop safe and responsible online and offline behaviours, because we pass more time with the kids than their family.
