I want to flip the classroom so student will come to class already familiar with the content and ready to discuss it.

My desired outcome is that students will recognize that Japan decided to attack the US naval base at Pearl Harbor

because they felt the US was a threat to Japanese domination in the Pacific Ocean. I will provide notes my class website

that the students will read and then they will respond to review questions at the end of the notes.

Instead of starting off with lecture, I start off with review

questions that the students should already have the answer to.

Incorporate the flipped classroom approach more regularly. Perhaps I could provide notes and a short video for students to watch before class.
