To draw a conclusion means to use what the author says in the text, then use your schema to make a conclusion. Making a conclusion matters because if the author answers everything in the book you wouldn't have fun reading , so if you make a conclusion reading would be much more fun. The author instead of answering everything, they give you clues in the text called text evidence. It also helps you think harder on questions/ thinking problems.
