France and Britain were the first to declare war on Germany after Germany initiated war on Poland <br>2a.The second sino Japanese war made it evident that japan was ultra nationalist<br>2b. America joined the war as a result of Japans actions later in the war.          <description><![CDATA[<div>3:<br>- Out of dissatisfaction brought about by the battle against Chiang Kai-Shek, the Japanese soldiers assaulted and butchered numerous regular citizens with this being known as one of the best atrocities <br>- It is questionable that the Japanese intrusions really began the conflict rather than the German Nazis <br>- Japan was a separated island and out of their disengagement, they made a general public.<br>2: Germany was at war since they needed to make up for themselves since they lost in WWII. Japan was assaulted on the grounds that they began to vanquish regions under Chinese control.<br>3. Poland was moderately feeble in light of the fact that it was another administration with a frail military. This made Germany assault them to acquire an area over the East.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>3 things that stood out: <br>- Japan believed to have been the most sophisticated and superior to other countries. <br>- China managed to not resist Japan's constant military attacks. <br>- Japan's economy was declining considering their large amount of people and their equally as large military. <br>2 reasons why either Japan/Germany attacked: <br>- For Japan, during the Second Sino Japanese War, they launched their attack after realizing that one of their men had gone missing and the Chinese refused to let the search the city. <br>For Germany, after signing the Non-Aggression Pact with Russia, they attacked and almost decimated Poland in order to gain new land and resources for German industry, in hopes of ending the German depression and its humiliation after WWI. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>3) It is interesting how if one country got involved, then the other countries would attempt to remian nuetral or then become allies. <br>3) Chinese civil war was ignited by  Chang turning his attention to communists in hopes of containing his power. <br>3) Japan was a very big military state and mostly tried to isolate themselves from conflict. This led them to believe they more sophisticated and were also considered an ultranationlist state.<br><br>2) Japan wanted to get involved and attack because China had resources and land that they wanted. Then Japan falsely accuses China. Japan then gains control over Manchuko.<br>2) Germany launched a huge attack on Poland and airplanes bombed cities.<br><br>1) Japan felt the need to attack because the resources China had were necessary for Japan. Japan was expanding and greatly wanted to dominate even more, and therefore felt that taking away China's resources would give them a lead. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>3-2-1 Max Trinh</div><ol><li>Japan created a xenophobic culture after the Meiji Restoration in which it focused heavily on strong military and religious traditions.</li><li>Conquered Korea because of ultra nationalism, centralized states, and European technology in the First Sino Japanese War.</li><li>By February 1932 Japan had control of all of Manchuria, but Japan wanted to expand even more, which led to the stop of a Communist domestic war in order to defend themselves.</li></ol><div><br></div><ol><li>One of the reasons that the second Sino Japanese War began was because of Japanese expansion, in which they wanted to take over Chinese mainland because of a highly condensed population.</li><li>Also the “Mukden Incident” in which one of the Japanese’s soldiers were lost in a small misunderstanding led to all out fighting at the Chinese border and the conquering of Shanghai.</li></ol><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>
