Installing solar panels on your roof at home can generate more renewable energy instead of relying entirely on oil, gas etc. Wind turbines are great because wind power is more stable than solar, and a good-sized wind turbine can easily generate most or all of your electricity needs. Depending on your area, wind might be a better renewable investment than solar. Lastly, tress consume carbon dioxide and produce more oxygen so more trees means less carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
