         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><ul><li>Less water (Drought):<ul><li>Carbon dioxide traps heat in the middle of the atmosphere. This warm air at high levels in the atmosphere tends to prevent the rising air motions that create thunderstorms and rainfall. As a result, an increase in the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide tends to suppress precipitation. </li></ul></li><li>Bad water quality:<ul><li>Less rains or drought leads to the low flows and water levels, which can affect water quality of freshwater systems. Thus, the water quality of the lake becomes bad.</li></ul></li><li>Food shortage (Less livestock and crops/trees):<ul><li>Due to drought, the amounts of grass and water that livestock animals need to take are most likely to decrease, causing food shortage. Also, drought increases the salt content of soil, which contaminates crops and trees, thereby causing food shortage.</li></ul></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>What happens if CO2 decreases </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Less water (Drought):<ul><li>There would be an increase in the rain because less CO2 would allow more updrafts to occur which generates more clouds.  As a result, we can predict more rain due to a decrease in the amount of CO2.</li></ul></li><li>Bad water quality:<ul><li>There will be an increase in the amount of rain, so drought and water flow will be improved; as the result, water quality will be improved as well.</li></ul></li><li>Food shortage (Less livestock and crops/trees):<ul><li>There will be an increase in the amount of rain, whereby the amounts of grass and water will increase and the soil contamination will be prevented; thus, food shortage will be mitigated.</li></ul></li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
