Most immigrants are here legally. There is a process they have to go through to become a legal citizen and even thought the process might take time, its worth it in the end. Then to cross the Mexico/ America border you have to go through harsh and deadly conditions that wouldn't be worth it.
3. Most immigrants want to learn English. These immigrants will want to learn to communicate with other people in the States. Learning English would also be beneficial to them.
4. Immigrants don't take good jobs from U.S citizens. They will need to have higher education and if they come from poorer countries then it's less likely they'll have a higher education. It is also harder to get a job as an immigrant.
5. False- Many people who are immigrants are coming over to escape horrible living conditions. They will also want to do everything they an to stay in the country. Most crime rates in America aren't from immigrants as well.
