So far I am finding the writing process quite stressful with a lot of challenges. 

2.  Something that inspired me to write about racism is equality. I believe that everyone is equal and thus should be treated the same.

3. Some thing that helped me so far were the group poetry workshops. The workshops helped me get some insight as to what others are doing. Moreover, I was able to get feedback about my writing. Furthermore, I got some suggestions and improvements that I could make to the poem. This is because, I do not want any abrupt pauses and I want the poem to be read smoothly with a nice rhythm. I chose to capitalize the first word of every line to represent the new line. This helps the reader differentiate between the lines and sentences. This reinforces the rhythm and pacing. I used enjambment so that the lines are able to cross over and continue on another line. This helps the flow and the way the the poem is read. I believe that I did not use too many conjunctions. However I have to keep that in mind when writing my second draft. One thing that I could improve on is the transition between stanza 1 and 2.
