Finally, the family wolf pack sees the girl and returns the act of her kindness by helping her get home to her family.

She is determined to get home and continues on her path. She is also brave when she travels throughout the woods to help the wolf get home to his family. The girl needs to be brave  approaching the big wolf.   
Friendly- Even though the little girl is afraid to start talking to the cub wolf in the beginning of the story, she decides to approach him. The book displays the little girl and the wolf coming together and becoming friends as they make their way through the snow.

When the wolf and the little girl approach each other for the first time they are both hesitant.  

Considerate- The wolf is considerate towards the end of the story. The wolf and the wolfs family find the little girl laying in the woods unable to get home. The author shows the
family of wolfs helping the little girl get back home to her family because the little girl helped the baby wolf get home. This displays a loving side of the wolf and how the wolf has consideration for the girl.

This is allow readers to start to think about the feeling of being lost and how to be brave in order to get home. Parents can make connections to this story by understanding how the little girls parents felt when she did not return home.

The reader needs to make connections and visualize in their minds how the little girl is feeling in that moment.
