My product needs to be able to withstand it because my skateboard suitcase can be used as a seat and needs to hold the weight of an adult. After comparing the hard-shell suitcase and the soft-shell suitcase, I chose the hard-shell suitcase. The weight can be unimportant because it is changed into a skateboard suitcase. The hard-shell suitcase is more sturdy and durable. My product needs to be a triangular structure, which will be more stable and can withstand an adult.
Target audience/market -
The main purpose of my product is to effectively solve the problem of heavy suitcases by combining skateboards and suitcases, turning an ordinary suitcase into a place to sit, so in a tired travel and business trip, catch a plane will not become very tired. In my survey, people who are mainly on business trips will need this product. Because they travel very frequently, the suitcase is more like a necessity. And many people fly several different places in a day, so a convenient suitcase is important. I need to have a lot of storage space and can disassemble parts of my skateboard and suitcase. The storage space is because the business travel needs to go for many days, there will be a lot of things to bring. More detachable is a suitcase that can be placed in more than one size and of different sizes. Skateboards and suitcases are not a whole. If the suitcase is broken in the middle, you can find another suitcase. And I need my skateboard to be easy to operate. This can serve some people with poor balance. It's hard to control skateboarding for people with poor balance, but my skateboard suitcase can be used for everyone. My product must be shatter-resistant, because the suitcase must have frequent friction, so it must be sturdy and durable. In aesthetics, black is more suitable , black is more calm and low-key, especially suitable for work.
Constraints / Problems -
The main limitation of this design is in terms of production. It will be very difficult to use a steel frame. And the suitcases is made of plastic, so it is difficult to do it in school to complete the production. And connecting the wheels is also a very difficult problem. Then throughout the production process, I have to make sure that all edges are smooth, so there are no security risks.
Success criteria -
The success of this product is the combination of skateboard and luggage. The success of the project will be judged from the storage function and the detachable and bearable functions. And my success will determine my success by investigating feedback from the target audience.
