I find that when students see you vulnerable they are more prone to open up as well.  The group norms will be established during the first session  when confidentiality and privacy have been discussed. 

Stage Two: I plan to keep the group working together by reiterating our goals and using positive reinforcement to acknowledge our progress. 

Stage Three: For group closure, students will share their experiences and model the skills they learned in the program. The students will complete a post-assessment and compare it with their original responses. This law protects both me and my students by allowing me to help support them with their emotional issues.
