I believe that salespeople should be initially responsible for handling customer complaints. The salespeople should listen to the person and provide any information they can to help. Afterwards, they should refer them to another department that may help the customer more than they can themselves. If the salespeople just instantly refer the customer to someone else and don't try to empathize with them, this may make the customer feel annoyed or unheard. This is why the salespeople must have a good first approach and help the customer as much as they can before referring them to someone or somewhere else.

Personally, I think salespeople should be responsible. They are the ones selling the product so they should be the ones to hear the backlash and complaints in my opinion, If they can't answer there questions/complaints they should transfer them to a different call.

I think that the sales people should be initially contacted when a customer is issuing a complaint, but they should not be taking responsibility for solving every issue that comes by. Reaching out to a salesperson for an issue, and they respond with empathy and respect, it shows a deeper understanding and makes the brand look better. This would justify for a sales employee directing a customer and their issue to a specific department so they can find a more knowledgeable worker to hopefully clear up any confusion.

I think the sales person should be held responsible for customer complaints. Sales people are the main contact for people to reach, when it comes to complaints and feedback.Handling complaints shows customers that the salesperson cares about their experience. It can also help solve problems faster if the salesperson is involved. This makes customers more likely to stay loyal and buy again.

In my opinion, it kind of depends but I believe that customer service departments are more reality based but in a perfect world the salesperson involved should be the one to deal with the complaint. For the most part, those in sales are the ones who warehouse and purchase and maybe should be the ones who should deal with any customer backlash. However in the real world this largely is not what happens. In the modern day, most who have complaints about bought products are no longer the salesperson's problem and the are referred to customer service/help department. While the salespeople know the ins and outs of the product and know how to talk people into getting it, people in customer service know how to compensate unsatisfied customers appropriately as well as how to talk to said unsatisfied customers.

In my opinion, salespeople shouldn’t handle every complaint, but they should be the first point of contact. They’re the face of the relationship and can make the customer feel heard. After that, they should guide the issue to the right department and follow up to ensure it’s resolved.

Mond- In my opinion, Salespeople shouldn’t be responsible for handling all customer complaints, as their main role is selling and managing relationships. Complaints are better addressed by specialized departments like customer service or technical support. However, salespeople should guide customers to the right department and ensure they feel supported throughout the process. This ensures efficient problem resolution and a better overall experience.
