Juliet- obedient to her parents, daughter of Lord and Lady Capulet, previously engaged to Paris

Friar  Lawrence- the pastor that married Romeo and Juliet, he created the plan to escape but untimely killed them 

Tybalt- the cousin of Juliette Capulet. Killer of Mercutio. He is killed by Romeo towards the end of the book.

Lord & Lady Capulet- the parents of Juliet they force her to marry Paris, lady dies from distress

Nurse- The woman who supports Romeo and Juliet's marriage. She is Juliet's nurse.

Mercutio-  Romeo's closest friend who dies trying to fight Tybalt.

Benvolio- He tried to

The prince- stopped the families from fighting and he banishes Romeo from Verona 

The Messenger- An illiterate messenger who asks Romeo to read the names of the names of the invited people. When Romeo does this, he invites him to the party.

6.) Romeo then kills Tybalt and is exiled.
7.) Juliet is being forced to marry Paris. so she fakes her own death.
8.) Romeo goes to visit Juliet, kills Paris, then himself.
9.) Juliet wakes up and see's romeo dead , so she kills herself. 
10.) The family vow to be nicer to each other.

War hero from Trojan War. Upset Poseidon and isn't permitted to go home to Ithaca, where he is king.
Penelope- Odysseus' wife, 
Athena- The Goddess of Wisdom who really likes Odysseus and is trying to help him get back home... despite the fact that he has angered other gods.
Antinous- The 'leader', or most vocal, of the suitors at Penelope's house. He has befriended on one of penelope's maids who is trying to help him keep pressure on Penelope.
Aeolus- God of the wind who gives Odysseus a bag of powerful wind to help him get home, regardless of Poseidon. 
calypso-a sea nymph whose island Odysseus gets stuck on.

Circe- A witch who turns Odysseus' men into something OTHER than humans....And they have to figure a way to escape from her island. 2.His next encounter was with Circe which showed his hero like attributes with help from the Gods.

3.  The three monsters (Sirens) (6 headed serpent) (Whirlpool) of the sea which showed his cunning ability that allowed him and his men to survive.

4. He then returned home and had to kill the suitors with the help of his son which showed the value of family.
