         <description><![CDATA[<div>John Fitzgerald Kennedy is born in Brookline, Massachusets on May 29, 1917. 2 years later, he becomes very ill with scarlet fever and almost dies. In 1927 his family moves to New York. They still spend their summers at Hyannis Point (on Cape Cod). 3 years later, he goes off to Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut. He transfers to Choate Academy in Wallingford, Connecticut a year later.<br><br>RR: If he died as a kid, the Cuban Missile Crisis would've probably happened<br><br>In 1935, he graduated from Choate and is voted most likely to succeed. He tries to break the family tradition by enrolling in Princeton University but has to leave due to illness. He enrolls at Harvard University a year later, just as his father and brother had done.<br><br>RR: Breaking a family tradition is pretty hard, I've tried it.<br><br>In 1938-1939, John writes his senior thesis on why England was slow to stop Hitler while in Europe. He graduated from Harvard with honors a year later while also publishing his thesis as a book called "Why England Slept" a year later.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1946, Jack ran for the U.S. House of Representatives and won. 6 years later, he runs for the senate and wins again. He proceeded to marry Jacqueline Bouvier a year later. From 1954-5 he wrote "Profiles in Courage", which was published in 1956. His book wins the Pulitzer Prize a year later.<br><br>In 1960, he announced his candidacy for the Presidency of the United States, After a long debate against his opponent, Richard Nixon, he is officially Elected president of the U.S. Shortly after becoming president, John Jr. (his son) is born. He then later makes a speech asking Congress for more money for the space program, and declares his goal of "landing a man on the moon and returning him home safely to Earth".<br><br>A year later, Jack peacefully forces the Soviets to back down on attacking the U.S. with nuclear missiles in Cuba. This ends the Cuban missile crisis and avoids a nuclear war. The next year, Jack gives a speech at American University that begins easing the tension between the U.S. and Soviet Union.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Jack was later assassinated the same year in Dallas, Texas. The killer is allegedly Lee Harvey Oswald, but there are theories about who the killer really was. He is burred on John Jr.'s third birthday.<br><br>RR: There are a lot of theories on who really killed JFK, you should read about them on Wikipedia or something.</div>]]></description>
