This is a good thing for people reading about the Holocaust to watch and hear. If you watch this video then you can have a better understanding of people's true experiences during the holocaust. it is amazing that the museum brought people in to share their stories, it was probably hard for them because the Holocaust was a horrible traumatic experience.

So it shows more by showing how there were other planes trying to get rid of the bombing planes.
Aubree Lezman

By: Anna Hart
Once you go into my link it shows you all the things that the evacuee children carried with them. The children were being evacuated because Britain was getting bombed, and they wanted them to be safe. So they sent them off to places far away they believed to be out of danger. As you can see in the picture a lot of the children are frowning or don't look too happy. They are being sent away from everything they know. This picture captures the real reality of war. All the children have tags attached to their clothing so that people know who the children are and where they came from. Some children were traveling very far and couldn't bring all their
belongings, but only had small paper bags holding only the necessities. All this was done to make sure the children were properly cared for. But in Ada and Jamie's case, they didn't bring anything with them. No tags, belongings, or any knowledge of where they came from. War was a complicated time, and I believe this picture tells a story and is something we can use to learn about that time.

The holocaust really effected them in a lot of ways not only physically but also mentally. It talks about how the children got split up into groups depending on if they were Jewish or not. The kids would get sent to Killing Centers where they could be killed right after birth or even when they were older. A LOT of kids would die from starvation, disease, and lack of adequate clothing and shelter. He was taken to a prison center as a preschooler and then a women took him in to hide him and she took him back and she went with him and then when thay were calling names to go to the killing centers his name didn't get called and he never got found after that. This is significant because he is one of a small group of people who were jewish that made it out of the war without dying.

By Mackenzie DeHaan

This is an article about how the Germans invaded the Netherlands and the Dutch reaction to it.
The main point of the article is how the Germans invaded. But it also talks about why they invaded, how the Dutch reacted, and what really happened in the five day Invasion. It also goes into depth about how they prepared for the attack while the rest of Europe was being invaded, and this article is on the Anne Frank website which talks about what her and her family did when hiding.
This is a very significant source to the entire history of WWII because the entire domination that the Nazis had over Europe really played out into how the war was going to go, but most of the countries they invaded at least tried to fight back before becoming fully occupied. This would be helpful to someone else that is researching this topic because all of the invasions and controlled areas that the Nazis gained in Europe early on into the World War was very significant on how the Nazis gained other land and were able to build camps and make people work for their benefit during the war.
