This happened during the year 1980, it was witnessed by Betty Cash and Vicky Landrum.
They said that the object than crashed in the ground, and when the ladies went to investigate, they were surrounded by military, and were escorted away from the crash sight.
The image seems to be very wavy. Not properly visible.
The women who saw the UFO crash, were escorted away from the crash sight by the military, suddenly, how did the military get there suddenly.
There are many red flags here, like appeal to authority, unexplainable phenomena, red herring etc.

When he approached the area, he saw, two "persons" and an overturned car, but soon a roaring sound came, as they got into the object, and it whizzed back into the sky, quickly.
There is a red flag of too much information, the officer was able to tell, the perfect colour of flames, explained what kind of object it was, could tell that there were possibly two persons near the object. Yet it was still during the Dusky time of the day, when visibility is the lowest.
