When the man stole is gun, Matt could have grabbed the gun out of his hands. When the man took his gun, I predict that MATT MIGHT DIE!!!! That's because Matt has a gun to hunt with. Without a gun, Matt wouldn't have anything to eat, without eating, like i said, HE MIGHT DIE!!!!

Matt could have got the gun and threatened the man instead of letting a stanger in his house. Matt will have a harder time because the gun was pretty much his food source and without food he will die now he cant even eat the the rabbits in the forest. Unless he can cach them whith his hands.

Matt can't defend himself now so make might get hurt or even die. If someone broke in his house he could not defend himself .Matt should have fought back for his gun, or ask for it back nicely just kidding that wouldn't work at all!!!!!!!!

Matt could have talked and fined out why the man stole his gun or he can just go and hunt him done to get his gun back. Also, HE COULD HAVE said he was about to kill him if he doesn't give him his gun back .

Well, if Matt would have came to his senses and wold have been like, who are you and why are you here, he could have just shot the dude. He could just be like, "Oh that was a deer I shot aren't you proud of me dada?". That could have been a tasty breakfast for Matt.

Matt could have watched the man and stab him with his hunting knife when he stole the gun. I predict then he would be able to stop the bear with the gun and he would still have food.

In my opinion, Matt should of gone back to the town and added a flyer around on posts, then the Indians and other people would find out about the Man who stole the gun and hunt him down. :) Or Matt could of went to Indian tribe areas to search for the man, since he said he was going to settle in one of the Indian tribe areas. :)

In my opinion, Matt should of knocked the robber out, and/or stayed awake with the gun next to him. I think that later on, Matt will be more protected.

In my opinion matt could have held the gun so the man couldn't have taken the gun. I think this will change the rest of the story because he wont be able to hunt with the gun he will have to hunt with his hands or buy a new gun which will propbobly cost a lot of money.

In my opinion I think that he could of handled it differently because the whole rest of the story Matt has to go without his gun. If Matt would of asked were Ben was instead of just trying on his own the story would change.
