I would use Planboard. Planboard helps you create both single lesson plans as well as unit plans. It makes it fast and easy. I believe this would be a useful tool because teaching falls apart without having a solid, organized lesson plan to fall back on.

Class presentations can be time consuming so Google cast allows students to share their presentations with both the teacher and their fellow classmates. Additionally the teacher can also make presentations and share them with the class.

Students and instructors can keep multiple different types of files all in one place.

I would most definitely use Google Drive. Google has been playing an active role in education for the last couple of years and believe many of the resources they provide are extremely helpful in terms of student learning. Google Drive will provide my students with access to their Google docs, slides, and sheets no matter where in the school building we are. I can see students' work and they can read my comments which provides a nice collaboration between teacher and student.

I would use Google Forms for my surveying method. In Google Forms students can create as many forms as they want and get unlimited feedback. All of this is happening inside the Google platform so students who are already using Google Drive have easy access to these forms. I would be interested in getting my kids excited about both creating and responding to different surveys and since they are already familiar with Google, teaching them how to use Forms would be a breeze!

Students often struggle with their grammar and spelling and so I think this tool will provide a way to help them improve on those skills. Grammarly checks grammar, spelling, and writing mechanics plus it adds notes in the margins about suggested changes. My students could definitely use this extra support and believe Grammarly could become a vital tool in their writing process.

I would use SketchPad. SketchPad allows students to create illustrations digitally with a variety of templates and colors. SketchPad also allows you to layer your drawing and sketches to create a more dynamic illustration. SketchPad illustrations can be added to files and slides. I know my students love making slide presentations over class content so this could be a fun thing to incorporate to make their presentations more dynamic. Drawing is also one of the ways my students like to relieve stress and since they also love technology this could be a wonderful free choice activity for when they are getting overwhelmed.

I think it would be best to use this source for Science and Social Studies since those seem to be the subjects that students are the least interested in. This would be a fun and engaging way to perk up their interest.

Kahoot is a resource I got to learn about at an iStem conference back in February. I thought it was really cool! I have since used it in my classroom. Basically the instructor creates a quiz, test, review, etc. and the students log in to Kahoot and take the assessment live as it is projected onto a SMARTboard or projector screen. Kids really get into it and they can see immediately if there scores were correct or not. Immediate feedback is essential to learning and I really enjoy using Kahoot. Typically I use it for formative assessments (mainly review quizzes) and the kids get excited about testing which is hard to do. I have used Kahoot for ELA, science, and social studies. I encourage everyone to give it a try! It is free!

I would continue to use Google Drive since it is what we are currently using in the classroom right now. Students can share their Google Docs writing assignments with the instructor and the instructor can comment and highlight areas that need editing. Teacher can point out misspelled words, grammar mistakes, etc. I would use Google Drive feedback mainly for writing assignments thought it could also be used for science or social studies response questions.

I am always finding to integrate technology into math. Math requires so much handwork that often times it gets neglected when it comes to technology integration. Mathalicious seems to be a good site to use. I would have students use this when they have completed our math lesson(s) for extra practice. Mathalicious is great because it forces students to think about WHY they are doing what they are doing instead of just going through the motions. Mathalicious gives students extra practice on math skills using technology and also gets them working on their critical thinking skills.
