Scenario 1:
I have 0 interest in watching football, however, I would probably say Tyler should bring the six year old to the football game, along with some snacks, something to keep the kid occupied if he gets bored, and noise-blocking headphones in case the crowd is too loud for him.

Scenario 2:
As much as it sucks, if she wants to continue to participate in her favorite thing, she has to keep her grades up. There is the possibility of going to group study sessions or a tutor if she can afford it. There's also the fact that she's in ninth grade, and could probably participate in the school's team the next year so long as she keeps the scores up the following year (again, a tutor is a possibility).

Scenario 3:
No, I do not want to be a part of the popular crowd, and I hate parties with a burning passion. Slumber parties with friends are superior to hanging around with 50 some odd strangers. I also don't like the implication made by specifying the fact that the big party is a "Boy-Girl" party :/

Scenario 4:
Stay with the band. 100 Percent.

1. Leave the kid at home and make him man up. Or you could get a babysitter. You could also sell the baby to another parent in the crowd and just get a new one afterwards.

2. Basketball camp because playing basketball is better than school. You can play basketball with friends and with school its boring. And basketball you can play in a games like tournaments or championships.

3. Go to the boy-girl party because it'll make you cooler. Plus you could just get new friends anyway if they don't accept your apology when they get mad.

4. I Would go to Disney world because it has about more than 10 rides in Disney. You can experience the magic down there. And with basketball you practice everyday 24/7 and its no fun playing basketball.

He can rearrange his plans with his other friend for the sleepover and have it the next night or the night after

Scenario 4 - Stick with the varsity sports route because it has better opportunities for the future. He is very good at his sport so he could have an easy time getting noticed and offered into a college

1) Taylor should bring his brother with him to the game so that the parents can go hang out with their friends and he could hang out with his. He would buy his brother lots of snacks so that he keeps quiet.

2) Marie should go to science camp. She can always just practice basketball or join another program that fits her time frame better. It's most important that she improves her science so that she would be able to play basketball at school.

3) I would go to the bigger party. I don't see anything wrong with going to the one with the more popular friend, especially if most of my other friends would be at the bigger party too. My first friend should understand since most of our friends would be at the other party, she might go to the other party too if I invite her.

4) I would stay in band because they have lots of field trips that I would like to go on. Plus, I have been there for a long time so I would have lots of great memories. I can just go to another team that isn't Varsity if I still wanna play the sport

For example he can pre-cook dinner than take out his favorite video game for him to play to distract him.
Marie should get a tutor instead and still attend her camp.
You bring your friend with you to the party or you reschedule with your friend for tomorrow.
You stay in band and realize that you can try for varsity again next year.

1. Take the little brother to the game, have your fun there while doing what your parents asked you to do.
2.Go to science camp as getting better grades in school is way more important than being good at basketball when its super hard to get anywhere with that.
3.Go to the longtime friend party since there are you have known them for longer and you won't be able to make it up to them as well as the popular friend.
4. Do band as you have been doing it for longer and really enjoyed it in the past and can't throw away those band skills and you get to go to Disney.

The first because she has been friends with her friend for a long time and the second because her parents who have fully developed prefrontal cortexes, making them better at assessing a situation and making an informed decision, suggested that she should.

4. He should ask for some sort of reparations for having to cancel his plans.

(Scenario 2) If she in fact has above-average grades then her main focus should be going to the basketball camp. It is easy to get a tutor or you can ask for help. Basketball camp is a one-time opportunity.

(Scenario 3) If you have already made plans with someone you have to uphold your word. There will be more chances through school to increase your popularity.

(Scenario 4) This man is a unit. He made varsity in ninth grade. Sports give you a better future than the band will give you and if you quit the sport now you probably won't get another chance.
