There government is very secretive.  North Korea lets in very very little amount of people but at the same point they do not let a lot of people out of the country. It is not easy to get to North Korea or leave it is also a dictatorship party which means that there is someone who is charge.  If you want to leave you have to ask for permission and if you get caught leaving with out permission you could get sent to a camp where you work for a long time and where you do not get feed that much at all.  You would maybe get feed one meal a day. Sometimes you wouldn't get feed at all. Most of the people working die of starvation. if you survive you might get sent somewhere else to work. Such as you could get sent to a coal camp where you work there. You would not get paid most of the time because you tried to escape. Most of them serve for no more than 10 years. North Korea has lots of armored vehicles such as 5,550 tanks. There are 950,000 army troops all caring a type of riffle which has been banned in the past. The Navy is a lot weaker than there army but as this they have 80 submarines and has 810 vessels and has up to 60,000 sailors.  North Korea is very happy about there army because they have one of the biggest armies.  Most people want to join the air force more than anything. There are more people in the air-force than other kinds of military. Then sometimes they do kill the person who is trying to escape or who have broken another sort of law. so it is not a good country to break a law in or try to escape in . There is always one or two people who do escape but most of the time they are not able to. North Korea is the hardest spot for media because they check everything before releasing to the public so if the government doesn't want people to see it they will not let it be released at all. Which is a bad thing because then it is hard to post your opinion on something about the government because then they can say no to posting it then your hard work is gone pretty much for doing that whole article on that. Than the Grandfathers son and then he passed away so now Kim Jong-une is in charge. He has been in charge since 2011.  His dad died of a heart attack. Kim Jong Une does run things very differently than his father did.  
He started launching off missiles ever since he started to be leader and one big thing that he is more serious about is his army. His army has gotten bigger ever since he took over. so that is a big thing that happened since he took over his dads place as leader.
