I know this because in the book Trisha ends up getting really dizzy and falls off the carnival ride. after that Richard carries her all the way home. One reason is because Richard teases Trisha by saying he can do everything better, faster, and longer and it was true. But Trisha wanted to do something better than her older brother and she knew she could do it so she made a wish out of a shooting star, just like her grandma did and her grandmother said that a wish that you wish may come true and Trisha's wish did come true! Another reason is because when she did something amazing her brother was like "Wow" because she was on the carousel longer and she past out because she was way to dizzy, then her brother brought her to the hospital to do stitches and he did something very very nice then she likes her brother but overall her bother and her are rude to each other. That makes me think both the brother and sister are very disrespectful throughout the story. Trisha dosen't quite under stand why her grandmother likes Richard because Richie is nice when ever Bubbie is around but when ever Bubbie leaves he always is annoying to Trisha. Also you can see they are at a farm because they have rhubarb bushes at barns and Richie and Trisha do a challenge to see who can eat the most rhubarb and Trisha ask if Richard likes rhubarb and he teases her and wins. This shows they live on a barn and they face bad challenges with each other, luckily at the end of the book the become nice again.
