FESTIVAL OF SACRIFICE
The Sacrifice Feast is one of the oldest Islamic holidays in Turkey. It commemorates the story about Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) who showed obedience to God by agreeing to sacrifice his son. God then sent him a ram to be sacrificed instead. 

Sacrifice Feast is a four day religious festival in Turkey. Administration buildings, schools and most businesses are closed during this period.

Traditions include sacrificing an animal in a special ritual, visiting relatives and helping the poor.

Traditionally, on the first day of the Festival of Sacrifice, men of each family go to a mosque for a special morning prayer. Then the sacrifice ritual begins. Families share about two thirds of the animal's meat with relatives and neighbors, and they traditionally give about one third to the poor. During the Feast of Sacrifice, not only candies but also the meat of sacrificial animal are served to guests.

The most-commonly practised religion in Albania is Islam (mainly Sunni or Bektashi), the second-most-commonly practiced religion is Christianity (mainly Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant), however there are also many irreligious people.
I'm a literature teacher in high school.
My religion is Bektashi.
My grandmother was born in Ankara.
She learned me about this religion.
We celebrate in my town , Leskovik (Albania) on 25th August .I think is the most important Religion Bektashian Feast in South of Albania.
We sacrifice 100 sheep .

Traditionally it is a day dedicated to the first labor of the year needed when taking care of the vineyards – the cutting of the unnecessary branches at the beginning of February. The ritual often includes a Christian priest who blesses the vineyards, as Saint Trifon is considered a guardian of the vineyards and of wine-makers. A great feast is held after the end of the ritual. After the ritual, the men chose a “king of the vineyard” and adorn him with wreaths. Then, accompanied by music, they go to the village and visit every household. The lady of each house then gives wine, first to the “king”, then to everyone else in the group and a blessing for plenty is said. When the party reaches the king’s house, he puts on new clothes and invites everyone from the village on his table to celebrate.

Assumption
Assumption of Mary or the Feast of the Assumption is a Christian holiday that celebrates the ascent into heaven of the Blessed Virgin Mary, remembered every year on August 15.

Immaculate Conception
The Immaculate Conception is first of all a Catholic dogma and is celebrated on 8 December each year. For many centuries the Catholic Church has had a cautious attitude regarding the Immaculate Conception even though there were many and in more circumstances who were in favor of its institution as a dogma.

Advent
Advent, in the Christian liturgy, is understood as the period that marks the beginning of the liturgical year and includes the four Sundays prior to Christmas day. The symbol of Advent is a wreath and four candles, which are lit one every Sunday.

Christmas
Christmas is the feast of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, celebrated on December 25th. There is no other Christian holiday so full of traditions, charm, that has as much popular appeal, with the most solemn ceremonies and rites, the Lord's.

Candlemas
Candlemas is a Christian feast that is celebrated on February 2, also called the Feast of the purification of the Virgin Mary and the presentation of Jesus in the Temple. The feast is called Candlemas because on that day candles are blessed and distributed to the faithful. In fact, tradition has it that these defend against calamities and storms. In addition to this, lighted candles symbolize Jesus Christ, that is, the light of the world.

Easter of Resurrection
Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian world which celebrates the resurrection of Christ. Easter falls between March 22nd and April 25th. The main theme of Easter is the announcement that Jesus died, crucified and risen.

Pentecost
Pentecost in Greek literally means "fiftieth day", and refers to the fifty days after Passover.

Holy Trinity
The Holy Trinity is a Christian holiday of fundamental importance, which is commemorated on the first Sunday after Pentecost. The Thursday following the Holy Trinity is celebrated the Body and Blood of Christ, that is Corpus Domini. The anniversary of the SS. Trinity, celebrates the Trinitarian reality of God the Father who in the greatness of the Spirit sends the Son for the salvation of man.
