Natural Increase Rate: (NIR)

How much is society growing. Take the CBR – CDR = NIR. Positive number = society is growing. Negative number = society is shrinking.

Total Fertility Rate: (TFR)

How many kids are women having. Total number of children divided by total number of women.

Infant Mortality Rate: (IMR)

How many children die before the age of 1. Number of children under 1 who have died divided by 1,000

TFR is affected by areas, enviroment and other factors. Larger families would usually be in a rural environment, for more help around the farm/home.
