In the second chapter, we are introduced to a new setting, Just outside Havana, Cuba, 1994 

I have to say, I like how they keep switching from setting and time, it just makes you more interested because it's not just one long story, it's broken into pieces. 

In the third chapter we are introduced to yet another setting and time, this time it's Aleppo, Syria
