The Outsiders Playlist: An 8 song playlist with songs that represent the themes of the novel, characters, or situations in the novel. Each song must be listed and include a synopsis (3-4 sentences) as to why the song was included and specific lyrics from the song that match the novel.

Your playlist will be typed in a Word document to be printed. This is how each of your song selections should look:

Old MacDonald Had A Farm by Mrs. Gonzalez
"And on his farm he had a horse e-i-e-i-o"
This lyric reminds me of Soda's horse Mickey Mouse. In Chapter 76, Ponyboy talks about Soda's horse by saying, "kfdjaefohawofefihahwfjawoi" (pg. 45). This shows that Soda's horse was very important to him just like the horse was important to Old MacDonald in the song. The song reminds people about the importance of caring for animals just as Soda cared for Mickey Mouse.

Each selection must include a direct quote from the text along with a description as to why you chose the song.

Make sure you use correct grammar and punctuation!
