<title>Regarding the car allowance policy. Since 2020, there has been no increase in the car allowance. At the same time, the cost of new vehicles has risen by over 20% due to inflation, particularly in the post-COVID period.</title>

<title>It would be beneficial if we could expand our work-from-home options, similar to what other companies offer. This flexibility would help employees save commuting time and enhance their focus and productivity (For example, offering an extra 10 flexible work from home days in addition to the regular work from home Friday would give employees the opportunity to use this benefit as needed, especially when they are not feeling well). </title>

<title>I&#39;ve seen similar feedback from others and completely agree regarding the car allowance benefit. With the rising cost of vehicle, the current allowance amount has not kept pace. Additionally, since it&#39;s considered taxable income, there&#39;s little left after taxes. The car allowance benefit should be reviewed and adjusted to better reflect current costs.</title>

<title>I find it difficult at times to feel respected, understood, connected or part of a cohesive team. It is difficult when the office is so segregated and every department is its own little clique and doesn&#39;t interact with others. I feel like there used to be more unity and team building efforts. I think it&#39;s good that HR is interested in what employees think and feel and hopefully constructive remarks are taken into consideration to improve our work environment. The office is a great divide. </title>

It has created a sense among some employees that Glovis may not fully appreciate or support its staff, which can erode trust, loyalty and the feeling of belonging, of a genuine partnership. <title>It seems inconsistant that all employees are treated uniformly upon joining, independently of positions, rank or experience, particularly regarding vacation time. Despite being hired for my years of experience that I believe benefits Glovis, the standard allocation of vacation time and sick days does not reflect this. It would seem more equitable if Glovis acknowledged and rewarded previous and valuable experience through a more tailored benefits package. </title>

<title>It would be nice if geo-localized, clocked-in hours were reflected accordingly in the payroll system. Instances of working early or staying late for the benefits of the company abound yet are not being accounted for. Conversely, any absences such as for a family emergency, dentist or medical appointment results in deductions, which is inconsistent, as we are not paid by the hour. </title>

I sincerely hope that after upper management and HR sees some of these posts that there is some sort of change or implementations put in place to rectify some employees feeling the way they do. <title>Employee retention is arduous when staff do not feel appreciated, respected or compensated at the height of their efforts, as evidenced by the high turnover experienced this year. <title>It is concerning that our department is experiencing significant understaffing, leading to increasing workload, stress, working through unpaid lunch, taking work home, responding to calls or emails after hours, and at times on weekend. This goes for contract workers and permanent ones alike. It is hard to have a balanced work/family life, while also not being paid for the work actually done. It is my sincere hope that HR and upper management will take employee feedback into consideration. </title>

<title>It may be beneficial for managers to allocate a few minutes at the start of the day to check-in with their team members. <title>It would be nice to have community involvement days where we volunteer or partner with charities. Or we can also sponsor local events, conduct environmental sustainability initiatives, or participate in community outreach programs (Thanksgiving food drive/serve at soup kitchen).</title>

<title>As a manager, I wish there was a leadership development program. My department is understaffed to the point where team members are so focused on challenging customer demands that they do not have time to collaborate with other fellow employees. I hope that GCI will increase the number of new hires so that they can be onboarded thoroughly and feel supported in their career with Glovis.</title>

<title>I unfortunately have to agree with everyone below regarding unpaid OT, pay increases etc. Understaffing means the more I work to compensate, the least I earn hourly, and the least buying power I have. It is discouraging. I fear the vicious circle : the more I give, the more GCI takes. The more I give, the least likely GCI is to look for new team members in a timely manner. </title>

<title>From what I have gathered talking with co-workers, it seems no one really sees the possibility for advancement and growth within the company. We don&#39;t know what the next rung of the ladder is beyond our current position, to get promoted to. There does not seem to be a clear path to promotions or raises, besides the once a year salary adjustment. Could there be more transparency regarding the salary structure for our positions and what our advancement possilibities are? Thank you</title>
