3. Decision on the moment/s for the project and the theme
~The moment of our choice is the moment where Jonas begins to receive more and more memories and learns about the pain from memories of war and famine in the world when they existed, the Giver slowly giving him all of it. The theme of our choice will be on pain.
4. The reason why the chapter/s is chosen by the group
~The reason the group chose these chapters (chapters 14 & 15) is because
_(1)_We feel that they have the most pain felt by Jonas and The Giver (based ONLY on the memories received, learnt, and felt) and it will fit in nicely with our theme of choice, pain.
_(2)_We know that these chapters are the ones that focuses much on the moment where Jonas begins to receive more and more memories, learning about the pain from the memories of war and famine in the world when they existed, the Giver slowly giving him all of it, which is the moment of our choice.
_(3)_These chapters show many details of the pain they experience.

_(4)_Because we feel that our theme and moment has an atmosphere that resembles sadness, and reflecting on yourself and the world, we feel that these descriptions have the ability to do that.
