Rick Hohnbaum subsequently entered into a lengthy career as a city manager. He has served in this role in seven cities, including four in Oregon and three in Alaska. Most recently, Mr. Hohnbaum served with the city of Monroe, Oregon, as a city administrator and city planner. Each of these roles has required him to draw upon his expertise in the areas of financial analysis, project management, public policy establishment, grant administration, and business development. Mr. Hohnbaum previously spent 2 years serving as the director of human resources with the Lower Umpqua Hospital. He is also the former mayor of Sherwood and previously held the position of city councilor for the city of Yamhill. In addition, he served on multiple boards, including the Chamber of Commerce as a member and the Gardiner Rural Fire Protection District as chair.
