Model plan, sections, elevation.

Object : Wireless Earbuds
Activity : Play
Location : Master bedroom

Model concept : Taken from the shape of my earbuds case and the inner part of the case that enclosed the earbuds, with the shape of the earbuds.

Model description : I decided to build it in 22 layers with different design applied. The plan view could show how the layers went from front to end.

Design principles :

Rhythm : the layers be going in rhythm. First layer be the original angle, Second layer be slanting a bit. Then the rhythm continues like (original angle, slanted angle....) in ABAB style.
Repetition : the patterns of ABAB repeated each layers.
Hierarchy : the last 2 layers be in peculiar semicircular shape, showing the complete difference of it from the other layers.

The first project begins the exploration of basic techniques for semester 1.
Applying own's brainstorming ideas from a variety of questions and thoughts along with drawing techniques learned from integrating course Design Communication 01 (AB123), the Project 01 is produced with the ideology of covid-19 pandemic "Stay at home" daily life and activities with relation to spatial considerations for the new norm.

Task 1 : Poster creation (Integration with Design Communication 01 (AB123))
The poster is the showcase of the storyboard (Task 2) and video (Task 3), delivering the message about all the important objects and spaces that has the relationship with the three main activities of "Eat, work, play" during the quarantine period of current pandemic.

Task 2 : Storyboard making
The storyboard act as the script for the final video (Task 3), presenting the life of quarantine in a timeline sequence.

Task 3 : Video shooting
The final task of project 01. With choosing one (1) activity out of the three major activities "Eat, work, play", and relate it with a space that conduct the respective chosen activity during the new norm of Covid-19, (1) Plan, (2) Sections, (1) Elevation is produced in scale of 1:50 for the 2D orthographic drawing using technical drawing method.

Task 2 : Form Exploration
With choosing one (1) object from the poster (Project 01 Task 1), along with an ideology and exploration of (3) chosen architecture design principles, an abstract model is produced by transforming the ideas from the ideology.
