Intro: Going to college is a dream to many people. It is a meaningful piece of our life, especially of the teenagers. Graduate can let the students find a well paid job easier, also go along with a high salary/month. But there is a group people, they have never finish their university studies. This essay will illustrate the causes and the solution of this problem that why do the students to drop out of college.

Cause 1: Some students think that they have learnt enough in school and no need to go to college -> they drop out of college to find jobs to pay their livings 
  • University is unnecessary
  • Don’t want to waste their time to learn something they don’t need
  • Think that earning money is more important than attending class


Solution 1: Universities/schools should improve their curriculum - teach what is needed (skills, how to get a job, etc) 
  • Let students do what they want, but in a safe way

-          Some people think that :“if billgate dropped out of school but still successful, they can do it too”.


-          With that thinking, they will stop their study and find a job to do.


-          This will tire them out for low wages, as today's high paying jobs require a college degree.


Solution 2:


-          Encourage student to study by talking about the importance of a college degree.

  • College is the fastest way to be successful but not the only one. 
  • As long as they don’t be ashamed of themselves, live a meaningful life and try to improve themselves everyday, it doesn’t matter whether they go to college or not.

      To sum up, going to college has been impacted by expensive college tuition and students do not have a clear career orientation. With practical actions, the government should support costs for students and individuals should choose the right major.
