In our point of view, if we want a change we have to start our work, as teachers, with young learners on the topic to modify attitudes and beliefs.

2. "A mulher e o vidro estão sempre em perigo."

Argumentation: "This proverb suggests that women are always in danger because they are considered fragile, both physically, like glass, and psychologically, implying their limited capacity for self-defense. For this reason, they are often neglected and mistreated. It is important that the image of women changes so that they are seen as strong human beings deserving of all respect and admiration."

3.” Chłop do cepa, baba do kądzieli”

"The man to the flail, the woman to the distaff."

This is an old Polish proverb that reflects traditional gender roles. The "cepa" (flail) was used by men for threshing grain, while the "kądziel" (distaff) was a tool used by women for spinning thread. The saying suggests that men and women have specific, separate roles in society—men for labor and work outside the home, and women for domestic tasks.
