I felt inspired, acknowledged and to also have another perspective view of design which is much good in understanding and applying the design. The way Ruth explained her designs is very good because she knows what she is referring to and she is in love with that of which I also liked. She explains with passion and love of design, she loves to do it.

Responsibility is basically a state where you are having a duty with something or having control over something or someone, while response-ability is more of having an ability to respond to the world beyond yourself as well as recognise its existence. In the design industry we also have responsibilities as a designer to our clients meaning you must be responsible from time consuming to providing the clients request in the given period.

Costume design is a way of telling stories because the principles tell a story themselves by politics, cultural and also the uniqueness in costume design do tell a story without you being told about the design. Costume design is not just any design, but it is a detailed design that is very beautiful from within the design purpose.

Ruth says that through her designs she has connected to her voice, I am hoping to connect to my voice by giving all I have to show how much I love to design, that shown by actions and speaking about it.

The movies inspired me because it has made think very broad about design, I just never thought they would be artist like Ruth to explain and create more love about design as she did to me. I am blown away with her explanation and clarity with the whole design thing from communications to the actual work. With her explanations to visualising design I think she is outstanding.
