The Port of Barcelona is highly diversified. It is actually five ports in one: a commercial port, a cruise port, a logistics port, an energy port and a public port.

It is therefore an industrial, commercial and fishing port located at the foot of Montjuïc. It specializes in various goods and high-value products such as consumer goods, electronic products and vehicles.

The Port has more than thirty specialized terminals: containers, vehicles, coffee, cocoa, raw materials and passengers.

It is also one of the most importante ports in the Mediterranean region. It contains nearly one hundred regular lines serving more than two hundred ports on five continents. It is the most important Spanish port for international traffic.

Some of the city's most important streets and avenues are : Passeig de Gràcia, y La Rambla The plaza occupies an area of about 50,000 square metres. It is especially known for its fountains and statues, and its proximity to some of Barcelona's most popular attractions.

In this wonderful city we can also find monuments, beautiful places to walk, museums, harbors and a lot of poeple. Its most famous monument is called " La Sagrada Familia".  In Barcelona there are old and modern buildings and almost all the houses have a balcony. In the center of the city you can see many beautiful buildings in the modernist style.  If you enjoy walking you must go to the "Paseo de Garcia", Placa Cataluna and the Ramblas.

The Ramblas is always very busy with people of different nationalities, flower shops, book shops and art galleries. Its so busy!  You will also find human statues, people who disguise themselves and stand motionless and only move when you give them some coins.

The streets in the Gothic quarter are narrow and the buildings date back to the Middle Ages.
