SPARK LEADER LAB: D4 Emotional Barriers to Recruitment Reflection by Clovis Westlund

Reflect on these questions and provide a brief response: Why are we scared to talk to friends and strangers about the things we care about? What judgements do we make about other people when we decide to not try recruiting them? How is the fear of rejection or judgment holding you back from recruiting people? What is a mantra you can tell yourself to combat the fear of rejection while recruiting people?

I'm generally not scared to "recruit" people, it more has to do with my energy/social battery. I sometimes get intimidated if it's a person of status or someone I want to impress- but that has more to do with personal insecurities than my willingness to recruit. However, I do make judgements sometimes superficially about how well my message will be received.
