     (Patina also goes by Patty) Patty went to her track practice and dose fartleks. Fartleks are when you run slow for 3 mins and run fast for 1 min. And for some reason there second coach is teaching the girls  distance runners how to dance.


     Here are some thoughts obout patina. And what she’s doing. I wonder why the coach is making them dance. I wonder why the long distance runners have to do the fast run in fartleks for one min. I wonder why coach is teaching them slow dancing.

I’m reading The Forgotten Girl by India Hill Brown I’m on page 26 in the book. 


Iris is trying to signal her friend with her flash light through her window at night tell her friend to go outside for the first snowfall. When they went outside they played in the snow a bit making snow angels and having snow ball fights. But then Iris spots a good snow angel making patch of snow in the darkness and goes into make a snow angel when she makes it it uncovers a grave. 


I wonder why they went outside instead of just watching the snowfall from inside with Iris at one window and her friend in the other. I thought that she was going to be just fine cuz she saw an old grave but she had a nightmare that night. I wonder how close they lived together if a flashlight can shine through her friends window. I wonder how the snow  got so thick in such a short period of time. I wonder why there was a grave in the middle of nowhere.

I am reading Wildfire by Rodman Philbrick I’m on pg 169.


The main character is Sam and his friend Delphy they were being chased by two guys that were starting fires all over the place cuz other people from different places were building summer camps so the guys burned them down. Sam and Delphy were riding in a old Jeep running from the fire and the two guys. Delphy had a hurt ankle so when they were walking she used a stick as a crutch. She was swinging the crutch at one of the guys (by the way the guys were on dirt bikes) trying to knock hom off. Eventually she did and the other guy got cut off. 

I’ve been wondering this since the begging of the book if they will ever make it out of the woods. I think they’ll make it out cuz most story’s are like that. I wonder why the two guys hated outsiders so much, they only came to settle cuz they needed a home. I wish when Sam found the logging camp he found a atv instead of a Jeep he would’ve gone much faster. I hope they make it out cuz Sam needs to take care of his mom cuz she’s drug addicted.

Dear Readers I am reading The Invention Of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. I am on page 189. 


Right now in the book Hugo is working for the old man that runs the toy booth trying to get his notebook back the the old man stole from him. Also the little girl Isabelle keeps meeting up with Hugo to try to figure out where the notebook is because she lives with the old man. Hugo had a dad and his dad worked at a museum and he was looking through the attic and found a automaton (robot like thing) it could draw and his dad wanted to fix it, but one night his dad was in the attic and the guard locked him in and a fire started somehow and Hugo’s father died. 


I think he’s eventually find the notebook again. I wonder if the old man has a secret cuz he looked in the book and asked where Hugo got the drawings in the book. I wonder if the man has anything to do with the automaton. I think the old man has used the automaton before. If he has used the automaton where did he get ahold of it.
